    How would you rate this kit after a year? I want to buy this kit, but I heard that the cymbals break really fast and the open hihat misses hits. Have you experienced any of these things?

    • @OmriNetzerDrums
      @OmriNetzerDrums  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good question!
      I would probably give it like 8/10
      The cost of the kit is amazing you get an high end kit in a mid price.
      The hardware isint that great specialy the tom mounts.
      I haven't had a single cymbal break or any issues with triggering, hihat calibration is really good.
      I do use plugins and not the sounds in the module but you can import your own samples which is great!

    • @Iamadrummer
      @Iamadrummer 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This is not a high-end e-kit. If you live in Europe it is a good price for a first kit. If you live outside Europe, the taxes, shipping, and import fees makes this too expensive for what it is and for that price a better brand better e-kit can be bought.

    I'm thinking of getting this kit, is it still good? Are the toms and snare good enough to switch to a hybrid kit sometime(electric drums and acoustic cymbals)?

    Did the triggering of the VST work well and with low latency? Also would you consider making a video with some custom loaded samples for the module, there's no videos on that? Thanks for the video and the info on this kit

    • @OmriNetzerDrums
      @OmriNetzerDrums  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! The triggering is fantastic, i moved from 64 sample rate upwards and i finished at 128 where the latency is perfect aswell as the sound quality. Specificly in this demo i used Perfect Drums with my own plugins but i can make a video with the sounds out of the moudle. Would you like to see that?

    • @Ozterkvlt
      @Ozterkvlt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@OmriNetzerDrums I think i kinda know how the module sounds, but it would be interesting to see what can be done with custom imported drum samples, if you can layer them on a snare for a more natural sound etc. That would be cool because I haven't seen anybody importing samples for it

    • @OmriNetzerDrums
      @OmriNetzerDrums  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Ozterkvlt Well in the demo those are my samples, tho they dont run from the moudle i dont think there is a big diffrence if its from the daw or the moudle but i can try it out!

    • @Ozterkvlt
      @Ozterkvlt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@OmriNetzerDrums I see, I kinda doubt that you can load many samples per velocity into the module, I'd expect that you only can import one-shot samples. But it would be pretty awesome if you could load a full kit with all the samples into it

    • @OmriNetzerDrums
      @OmriNetzerDrums  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Ozterkvlt I doubt aswell but thats why i used the plugin, i can load 6 samples per drum so i have six diffrent velocitys just as for the snare for example.
      I'll try to play with it a bit and if i do see fit to do a video on it i will!
      Thanks for the awsome feedback!

    • @OmriNetzerDrums

      Hmm i would say on par with other e-kits maby even lower becuase its partly wood and not plastic so the wood takes a bit from the volume.

      just configure the hihat in the advanced settings how high and how low it should be, then you physically lower the hihat a centimeter or two and now you wouldnt hear that splash sound when the hihat goes up and down

  • @Iamadrummer
    @Iamadrummer 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    For all that are concidering this e-kit don't. It is cheaply made as to why it is so inexpensive to buy. The cymbals do not last as long as they should. The hi-hat doesn't really trigger correctly and most that have this kit switched out the hi-hat for a better one. The module does not have enough settings to get the sounds better or get rid of the crosstalk completely. If you live in Europe this is a good beginning first kit for the money. If you live outside of Europe, with all the import fees, and shipping makes this too expensive of an e-kit for what it is and for that cost there are better brand e-kits. The only good thing this e-kit has going for it is that it looms good. If you are a drummer or really want to learn drums then you will need a high-end e-kit and they are totaly worth the expense. Inexpensive or lower-end e-kits do not give you the proper feel, sound or playability as an accustic drum set or even a good high-end e-kit. In otherwords cheap e-kits will yeach you bad drumming habbits. You can learn the basics on them and that is all. If you then try and ay an accustic kit or a good high-end e-kit ot will be like learning drums over again.

      I'm beginner in the process of getting a e-kit and I've been reading forums, watching reviews and your comment has been the most accurate and helpful piece of advice I've found so far.
      Now, after all my research I've come to the conclusion that the best e-kit for me is the Alexis Nitro Max because of exactly what you said, do you agree? Would it be an e-kit good enough not to ruin the experience and motivation of a total newbie? Thanks in advance!
