I absolutely remember this so well...at a time when everything is up in the air in our society, a person can come here, and find something to take their immediate anxiety away and have a good laugh! What a fun couple. I know they are in heaven now, and boy oh boy, how we who are left to deal with some serious issues( coming down the pipeline) wish they were here to shed some wisdom and light on it all. Phyllis, I found your channel a couple of days ago, been binge watching every chance I get, love your personality and recipes!!! Even in your little squabbles with Mr.Bucky, it's plain to see the adoration y'all have for each other. As for all the "ladies" trying to tell Phyllis how to treat Mr. Bucky, he seems fine and dandy with his wife, whether she's sweet or a little bit salty. lol..Ms. Phyllis. To be truthful, you showed the real meaning of a disagreement vs. all-out-war. As a person fond of you and Mr. Bucky, I don't like to think of you guys having a disagreement, however it's an inevitable part of the growing pains of being married and I am sure it doesn't stop no matter how long one has been coupled. Unfortunately for me, I never saw a civil argument or disagreement, it was always soul-crushing words and yelling matches that were traumatizing & demoralizing to me as a child (and truthfully as an adult) when I saw my grandparents argue--mostly from the severe lack of respect on my grandmother's end. The gracious, albeit playfully picky way you handled that situation would have been something extremely awful had my grandmother been in your place with the same situation concerning my grandfather. That's not to say I didn't love my grandmother, but I realized she was wrong in SO many ways for how she approached things and "dealt" with anyone who disagreed with her. Makes me sad and cringe just thinking about it. I know you were a little perturbed with Mr. Bucky, but at least you respected him and he respects you too. And yes, it was pretty cute when he told you to pray about making the cookies. I think that part won you over ;-) Always a joy to see you two interact. I can tell you both love each other very much. Truthfully reading the comments prior to watching the video had me thinking you might have torn into him. That wasn't the case at all though. It was a little tiff that was resolved nicely and without hostility. You're a lovely wife and I can tell Mr. Bucky is a great husband. God bless you both. :-)
This is the cutest. Other people's disagreements seem like WW2 in comparison. Everyone should learn to disagree like this and to resolve disagreements like this too. This disagreement has a lot of love and humor in it. Y'all lecturing Phyllis just don't get it. Just go make yourselves some Moravian cookies and sweeten yourselves up a bit. theinkbrain Finding her channel on TH-cam has been refreshing--especially with all the junk out there. This is a genuine organic channel with no fluff or pizazz. It's a very comfortable place of positive nostalgia. She and Mr. Bucky seem to be good people--real salt of the earth. Unfortunately these types of folks are hard to find any more. I treasure & enjoy the videos while learning new things from Ms. Phyllis with my family (or in some cases being reintroduced to old concepts). A lot of people were commenting about her being negative and accused her of shaming Mr. Bucky. However......the most negativity I saw was coming from the ones who were attempting to rebuke Ms. Phyllis and shame *her*. It hurts to see her feel the need to defend herself to almost every critical comment. No one is owed an explanation by Ms. Phyllis. Some people even unsubscribed. IMHO that was a very dramatic and uncalled-for response meant to evoke emotion from her, I feel.---to hurt her feelings like it was embellished that she hurt Mr. Buckys'. I hope in the future we never see her again endure the kind of disrespect she has in response to this video. Bottom line is, if one doesn't want to watch a video, then cease and desist from doing so. I think many members of generations (including mine) after hers' are too sensitive and PC to relax and live a little. She meant no harm by the video. You can tell she and Mr. Bucky's routine is like a well-oiled machine. He knows how to talk to and what to say to his wife as does she to her husband. These two got it right and have given each other many years of happiness and companionship. May everyone be so blessed as these two are with each other. 😉

He said, "what in the world are you back there giggling about"? Then I told him I was watching a video of the lady from SC I told him about recently. Oh, Poor Mr. Bucky! Shame on you phyllis. :) He is such a handsome guy. Be careful, or I may come there and try to snatch him away from you. "LOL" You were both just tired and had a rough day. Actually, the way to print a recipe from any web page, is to open MS Word or equivalent program. Highlight just what you want, right click on it, and choose copy. Then go to MS Word and hit paste. If you haven't mastered on how to not include the pictures when you copy, and the pictures got pasted along with the recipe, then click on the picture, making it activated, and hit Delete. Do that to all the pictures. In Windows 10, using Wordpad, the graphics do not get pasted. Just the words, but then you have to put your cursor on the blank spaces in-between, hit backspace or delete, to bring the printing up closer to each other. That has to be mastered also, to not erase anything typed. You each go in your little corner now, and "practice". When you have what you want, you then print it from MS Word or the program you pasted it to. I hope I did not confuse you here on the how. There are so many ways of doing it, I thought this way might help. Be good now. You two are so lucky to have each other.

Phyllis, I found your channel a couple of days ago, been binge watching every chance I get, love your personality and recipes!!! Even in your little squabbles with Mr.Bucky, it's plain to see the adoration y'all have for each other.
As for all the "ladies" trying to tell Phyllis how to treat Mr. Bucky, he seems fine and dandy with his wife, whether she's sweet or a little bit salty. You all can offer up all the cookies and divinity in the world and he wouldn't look your way twice cause he's got everything he needs right in front of him.

lol..Ms. Phyllis. To be truthful, you showed the real meaning of a disagreement vs. all-out-war.
As a person fond of you and Mr. Bucky, I don't like to think of you guys having a disagreement, however it's an inevitable part of the growing pains of being married and I am sure it doesn't stop no matter how long one has been coupled.
Unfortunately for me, I never saw a civil argument or disagreement, it was always soul-crushing words and yelling matches that were traumatizing & demoralizing to me as a child (and truthfully as an adult) when I saw my grandparents argue--mostly from the severe lack of respect on my grandmother's end.
The gracious, albeit playfully picky way you handled that situation would have been something extremely awful had my grandmother been in your place with the same situation concerning my grandfather.
That's not to say I didn't love my grandmother, but I realized she was wrong in SO many ways for how she approached things and "dealt" with anyone who disagreed with her. Makes me sad and cringe just thinking about it.
I know you were a little perturbed with Mr. Bucky, but at least you respected him and he respects you too. And yes, it was pretty cute when he told you to pray about making the cookies. I think that part won you over ;-)
Always a joy to see you two interact. I can tell you both love each other very much. Truthfully reading the comments prior to watching the video had me thinking you might have torn into him. That wasn't the case at all though. It was a little tiff that was resolved nicely and without hostility. You're a lovely wife and I can tell Mr. Bucky is a great husband. God bless you both. :-)

This is the cutest. Other people's disagreements seem like WW2 in comparison. Everyone should learn to disagree like this and to resolve disagreements like this too. This disagreement has a lot of love and humor in it. Y'all lecturing Phyllis just don't get it. Just go make yourselves some Moravian cookies and sweeten yourselves up a bit. And leave Miss Phyllis alone. Give her some respect and learn to be more like her, it will improve you to no end.

If I could live my life following Miss Phyllis's example I would be 100% a better person. As t is at least I can follow some of her recipes. Chess pie is next.
theinkbrain Finding her channel on TH-cam has been refreshing--especially with all the junk out there. This is a genuine organic channel with no fluff or pizazz. It's a very comfortable place of positive nostalgia.
She and Mr. Bucky seem to be good people--real salt of the earth. Unfortunately these types of folks are hard to find any more. I treasure & enjoy the videos while learning new things from Ms. Phyllis with my family (or in some cases being reintroduced to old concepts).
A lot of people were commenting about her being negative and accused her of shaming Mr. Bucky. However......the most negativity I saw was coming from the ones who were attempting to rebuke Ms. Phyllis and shame *her*. It hurts to see her feel the need to defend herself to almost every critical comment.
No one is owed an explanation by Ms. Phyllis. Some people even unsubscribed. IMHO that was a very dramatic and uncalled-for response meant to evoke emotion from her, I feel.---to hurt her feelings like it was embellished that she hurt Mr. Buckys'.
I hope in the future we never see her again endure the kind of disrespect she has in response to this video.
Bottom line is, if one doesn't want to watch a video, then cease and desist from doing so. I think many members of generations (including mine) after hers' are too sensitive and PC to relax and live a little.
She meant no harm by the video. You can tell she and Mr. Bucky's routine is like a well-oiled machine. He knows how to talk to and what to say to his wife as does she to her husband.
These two got it right and have given each other many years of happiness and companionship.

Sure everybody has their part to say, but I have been watching this couple for a long time! And if this is the worst disagreement they have ever had, I take my hat off to them! They obviously love each other very much and they have their way of working through things which we all do, but you don’t have to be mean! He said, "what in the world are you back there giggling about"? Then I told him I was watching a video of the lady from SC I told him about recently. Then I told him how yall were such a precious couple and watching your discussion was making me laugh out loud! I love that yall are so sweet to each other. Actually, the way to print a recipe from any web page, is to open MS Word or equivalent program. Highlight just what you want, right click on it, and choose copy. Then go to MS Word and hit paste. If you haven't mastered on how to not include the pictures when you copy, and the pictures got pasted along with the recipe, then click on the picture, making it activated, and hit Delete. Do that to all the pictures.
In Windows 10, using Wordpad, the graphics do not get pasted. Just the words, but then you have to put your cursor on the blank spaces in-between, hit backspace or delete, to bring the printing up closer to each other. That has to be mastered also, to not erase anything typed.
You each go in your little corner now, and "practice". When you have what you want, you then print it from MS Word or the program you pasted it to.
I hope I did not confuse you here on the how.
There are so many ways of doing it, I thought this way might help.

Ironically I am watching this video and tomorrow is Valentines Day and both Miss Phyllis and Mr Buckey have left this earth to be with our lord. I watched the entire thing with a smile on my face and a bitter realization that these two souls really are one in a million and this world needs more people like them in it, not less. Oh how I thank the Lord the Miss Phyllis had the inclination in the first place to do these videos!! Thank you Thank you Thank you 🙏🏻!
