I find it so satisfying to see people give Malawi more attention lately as a Malawian living in England, Malawi deserves all the acknowledgement in the world. The environment is very homely all over the country and the people treat you as if you're family although you don't know each other. I went Malawi 2 years ago to see my family and to visit my mum's village and as we were driving down the highway, every single time we stopped there'd be people selling food and they'd just talk to us for hours about anything and everything, it was rather chaotic lmao but the point is, Malawians are very sociable people and they'd do anything to make you feel comfortable in the country. I'm not just saying this because I'm Malawian because even if I wasn't, I'd still say that Malawi is 100% the warm heart of Africa. I'd do anything to go back to that place.

    African Tigress,
I really enjoyed this Tour of Lilongwe,Malawi because I have an aunt who has lived there for at least 30 years with her husband who is a Malawian doctor! They are retired now.Fortunately several other relatives have visited them! I believe they live in Blantyre. Your tour has given me a feel of what Malawi looks like! My mom, my aunt's sister visited her 3x in her retirement, & when she returned to the states, she was speaking some Chechewa( the native language) & taught me some words! I remember her informing me about the money or " Quacha" what the money 💰 is called there! You have my Blessings!

Love my home Malawi. That's where my grandfather and my fathers birth home is. Nkata Bay is my first love. Lilongwe and mzuzu. Love it so much.

You're right, what I had seen of Malawi before was of some poor rural districts . Lilongwe looks super clean and organised.
All I know is that Malawi is a long, narrow country.

Yes, narrow country, with a lot of the lake Malawi within it
