- Welcome to my In Depth Fury 325 Review. Fury 325 is a giga coaster located at Carowinds. This in depth review of Fury 325 will cover not just the my thoughts, but also a brief history of Fury 325.
This Fury 325 review dives deep into the layout, theming, and ride experience provided by Fury 325. Spoiler alert, this in depth review of Fury 325 does not feature much negativity whatsoever as I love this ride. Fury 325 provides tons of airtime, speed, and intensity that many coaster enthusiast rave about.
My Fury 325 review certainly echoes what many have said since the ride opened, but I felt like it was time to give my thoughts on the ride after riding Fury 325 for the first time this year! I hope you enjoy my in depth review of Fury 325.

The front, far left seat gives some crazy lateral airtime coming out of the treble cleft. First time I had ever experienced anything like that.
My first time experiencing A LOT of things on this coaster😅 Fantastic ride!
Fury is such a good ride. It's so complete. G's almost as intense as I305, great floater, glass smooth, fastest speeds of any traditional giga, fantastic pacing, and a super long layout. What more could you want? I rode it 35 times in a row on a super hot day with full trains so it was at it's max. I rode at least once in every row and my favorite is row six seat 1. You get the best dangles and air time imo. Still my favorite over all and definitely the highlight of my Dollywood, Carowinds, KI trip.

I love row 6, seat 1 also. I rode it 7 times in a row from there and it pops like row 7&8

Went to Carowinds for my birthday and got to ride Fury, it is my current #2 right behind IG. I can't wait to get out there again and get more laps!

The first time I rode Fury I sat down I think in the sixth row and looked outside the station. The visual of that lift hill climbing into Infinity was ridiculous. I think I started blabbering about how ridiculous this ride was the entire way up the lift hill. That first drop lasts about twice as long as you would expect, and the climb through the travel clef is magnificent. This is very solidly my number two coaster and it's going to be very difficult to dethrone it.
The lift hill itself is an experience, let alone the drop! Still one of my favorites out there right up there with Iron Gwazi and Orion.
I still prefer this coaster to ig. For me it’s the intensity, length, and better drop. And tbh, this is my biggest hottake: twisted cyclones drop is better then gwazi’s in the back. It’s more whipy, the airtime is stronger, and the forces are just way more crazy.
I think Twisted Cyclone has more punch for sure, but I still prefer the other two!
Not many people talk about how temperamental this ride is, the difference a fully warmed up ride, or a full train makes is mind blowing
I think this is why so many people call her overrated
It definitely speeds up throughout the day, but that’s pretty typical across many coasters. People are just too picky!🤦♂️😂
@@doctorcoaster yeah, on Fury it's especially noticable, probably becuase of the size of the elements.
The treble clef can go from offering lateral hangtime to ejector airtime
I rode this first thing in the morning my very first ride and it was the greatest coaster experience I’ve ever had
@@JJJJ-he8bz I have ridden it at the start of 2 parks days and was ecstatic both times!
One time I rode this and it was last ride of the night. And I felt very sick and I couldn’t stop dry heaving. Then when we pulled back into the station I was so excited to exit. Much to my dismay, after all the nerds chanted “one more time” …: they sent us around one more time. I dry heaved off the treble clef and lost the game on each airtime hill. I was in excruciating pain. I held it in. I ran off the ride. Down the stares, thru the gift shop, and finally let it all out on its golden ticket award

When I first rode this in 2015 I rode three times in a row I normally don’t do that when I ride a new coaster at a park I haven’t been to

IMO, the forces aren’t the best of the elites out there. But everyone should ride this in the front row at night as those two rides I got are the sole reason this is in my top 10.

Orions first drop is the only other drop that can match it. You just peaceably float to the ground.

Is Fury one of those rides that you have to ride it to actually like it? Because I haven't rode it, and to me, it looks more like just a taller version of your normal average B&M hyper. The speed and some of the elements I get, but it seems a bit overrated. Idk, maybe I just need to ride it to get an actual experience.
It’s no doubt built for speed the likes of which many other coasters just don’t reach. I’d definitely say you’ve gotta ride it!

The drop alone is worth the hype for me
Probably the most unpopular opinion but this is way overrated and Orion is way better. It’s just speed and banking and I don’t get the hype. I hope it was just a bad day so maybe if I go back it will be running better.
I have ridden both and love both, but I definitely give this the edge due to the speed and duration of it.
Oh, and that first drop🤯
@@doctorcoaster Orions hits better, it’s a bit steeper and it may not be as long but I feel like it has better airtime, Fury is still really good and I’m hoping I just had it on a bad day.

Honestly agreed. I still think it’s a great ride but there are better ride skit there, which is why it is my #8/92

When I was riding Steel Vengeance I talked with a guy about Orion (i hadn't rode it yet). He liked the intensity of Orion better. I rode Orion 2 weeks later, it's Fury without any fluff. The fluff making Fury a Gatekeeper is worth it for me. FURY325 vs i305 is like SteVe vs Iron Gwazi... SteVe is long and consistent, IG is quick and in your face.
