The reason why that Masquerain is so strong is easy, it is a perfect IVs Masquerain, with modest nature and 252 evs in special attack and speed.
And it got a stat increase in gen 7 from base 80 Sp. Atk to base 100. Nothing to scuff at.

@@axlr8deathpls294 Okay, I just checked on Serebii. +20 to Sp. Atk from 80 to 100 AND from 60 to 80 base Speed. So yes it got a +40 points to it's base stats, but not only to Sp. Atk. You can go check if you want :)

May I just say, the Ultra games are so underrated. They got so much hate that they shouldn't have.

May I just bud in and say the main issue in my opinion with the ultra games and sun and moon in general is Hau being a nice rival other than that the story is actually really good and some of the topics in it are actually mature like Lusimane being an abusive mother
@@lukasv4893 abusive mother Lusmine is in Regular versions, usum are very watered down versions of the story with added features and characters to distract you from it
Fun Fact: Masquerain got a base stat BUFF in Gen 7. It’s base Special Attack stat went from 80 to 100 AND it’s base Speed stat went from 60 to 80. So that would kinda explain why Guzma’s Masquerain was surprisingly strong. (For Reference: 13:26 & 28:52)
All the bosss battle trainers have EVS so that’s also why they hit a lot harder then usual

For Raichu vs Togedemaru, I would use Raichu and get a Metagross from Mount Hokulani. Metagross can solo Ultra Necrozma at a pretty low level because it resists all of its moves, so then you don't need to worry about the rest of your team for that fight. I used a Metagross in my second playthrough team without even thinking about Necrozma, and it was a breeze.

Did that in my playthrought of Ultra Sun. Was fun, I ended with a Incineroar, a Sylveon, a Totem Lurantis, an Alolan Raichu, an Aerodactyl, and a Draganadel.
Fun fact: if you had picked rowlet there would be actually a chance that hau would use primarinas z-move on you in the double battle with faba

I remember that when I was doing the ghost trial in ultra sun it was late at night and I was under my covers and was actually a little scared with what was happening and everything. Then I destroyed the Mimikyu.
Did he get the 10% Zygarde from collecting enough Zygarde cells? I haven’t watched the original recording on this, but I haven’t seen it in this or the other video, and even 10% is balanced enough to be a decent dragon type for the play through tbh
That's only in Sun and Moon. USUM has Zygarde locked entirely within the postgame.

I can solve these problems
1. Evolve Eevee into Leafeon, its a good physical attacker and you might need a grass type for the next grand trial
2. I think that you should have Raichu over Togedemaru because Raichu is stronger. you already have Mimikyu to do some damage to Ultra Necrozma
3. your team. Primarina, Leafeon, Raichu, Mimikyu, Archeops, and Salazzle would be good.

Yeah, the Ultra version of the Hau battle in the Malie City has always surprised me how difficult it can be. I've played Ultra Sun/Moon quite a few times and always struggled to beat him. I'd say this is the gen 7 equivalent to the May/Brendan fight on route 110 in gen 3.
I hope the Eevee becomes an Espeon. It’s my favorite Pokémon.

As soon as I saw you going for Toxic on the totem Mimikyu I was like, "Oh, he forgot about the Lum berry." Because YEAH. There is no easy way to get around the Disguise. Whatever you want to do to the totem Mimikyu, you have to do TWICE to actually do anything to it because it just be like that.

I’ve learned that as long as you live Ultra Necrozma’s dragon pulses with togedemaru, you should be ok. My steel type managed to tank photon geyser like a champ and well, I’m pretty sure you can take resisted damage from non stab attacks.

I just found the best way to beat Ultra Necrozma. I led with Zoroark and it turned into my Crobat with Illusion. Then Ultra Necrozma kept using Photon Geyser which had no effect on Zoroark. Miraculously, My Zoroark didn't turn back and I beat it second try.
