- Who doesn't love metal detecting for those rare and valuable bucket list finds? I know my crew sure does, and this week we find ourselves some of the rarest pieces a metal detectorist can hope for; Silver and Gold! I love your videos. I watch them with my grandfather who used to metal detect all the time, but no longer can. He enjoys watching you because it takes him back to when he used to hunt. He always says, "Those boys sure have a lot of fun!" and I'm inclined to agree. Thank you for uploading and for giving me new memories to have with my grandpa. And good luck on your future hunts!

I think the word Conestoga is a pretty cool word. I'd never heard it until I started watching metal detecting videos.

Hi Quarter Hoarder, new old lady subscriber here. I was a rank amateur metal detector years ago but an old pro told me the best spots were sometimes at the entry steps to old homesteads. Do you find any good things there? Here at my 1924 Craftsman Bungalow I've found goodies in old flower beds, once a small diamond someone lost while working the bed. If anyone in the future finds old horseshoes here it's where I planted them with roses because of the lack of iron in my sandy soil. I found lots of marbles by an oak outside the back door where boys used to play. Good luck with your detecting and at 82 now and with a bum hip I'm enjoying your youtube videos, living vicariously through you guys.

Great hunt to all you guys. Love all your videos. I found my sisters class ring last October. She lost it on a ball field in short left field two weeks after getting it. It was 5-6 inches deep. She was as happy as I when I put it in her hand. It looked like Kyles, brand new. Keep up your great hunts. Oh lost 47 years ago.

Great show, as always, Jason! The three-cent silver was a great find and in great shape, as well ... what was it's date? The Indian Head had an "S" as it's mint mark. Only the 1908 or 1909 had any mint mark. It might not be an 1877, but a 1908-S or 1909-S sure is a 'key' find. Thanks again for such entertaining shows! I found a 1975 class ring in Kentucky lake about 12 years ago and within 6 hours (with a little help from my friends) I was talking to the owner. He had lost it around 1977 and even tried finding it with a borrowed metal detector. Fast forward 2 weeks and we met so i could return his ring. He was amazed that after so many years it would be returned.

Found a heavy gold Ring in an old chicken coop right on the Surface early 19 70's. Congrads Guys

Hey, Kyle's got a piece to a flapper head band. I think it is seen those in old twenties movies, might not be . But, wow I think it is.

You know that token is circa 2014. Nugget Noggin lost it lol. You just never know, just went to 1800s village the best I Got was 1962 dime. Hunted a modern park a week later, bam! Braided Hair large cent. Great hunt for all, especially for Kyle and that guy with a trime. ATB, Sebastian

Thanks Dawn. I didn’t do much metal detecting gin NY, I was really only going to see some old friends and meet some new ones. Brad is a good dude and it was nice to meet him. Maybe we’ll even get together in the future for a little history saving. 🙂

The battle to be right in all these videos really makes it hard to watch. Had to fast forward through the 3 cent piece back and forth since it was the third time in two videos i just watched that it happened lol.. Besides that they're great

I saw Kyle's video on his channel. IMO It was the find of the day. I'm partial to class rings since I found my first one, I'll take them over any silver (except a reale) any day. They are so personal & a big loss. You guys dug some nice finds congrats on your trime. HH
I agree, something so personal like that is really special to find. Would have been nice if Kyle was able to hand it to the person directly rather than mail it but at least they got it back.

Thank you. The trime was 1856. Really nice because the only other one I ever found was 1853 which had a slightly different design.

Sweet trime QH! Thanks for sharing so much, and wow I might just take you up on that email thing. I'm in need of a new Leshe digger, I tried a friend's out recently and they are SO MUCH NICER to dig with than the standard branded ones (Garrett, Whites, etc).
