It amazes me how you manage to get the homeowner's in the videos with you and even detecting with you. It's like an event when you show up! haha The coins you found in this video were great!
So amazing! What a great digging day you all had! What a great homeowner too to let you guys do some digging and so glad the owner's daughter was there too digging. So happy for all of you!
Thanks Kay. Once again they were really nice people. The daughter gave us a walkthrough tour of their old 1800’s barn. It was really cool seeing all the woodwork and stone walls. Meeting the people is half the fun of most hunts.
Some incredible finds...I don’t think I would ever want to leave that property! Congrats on the Seated quarter! Its still on my bucket list. Thanks so much for keeping the Basia quarter count going. Love the German silver coin! Thanks for sharing & Happy Hunting! ~ Gypsy
Thanks Gypsy! We are planning another trip back soon. There was a ton of land we couldn’t get to due to the tall grass. I might even offer to mow if the farmer lets me! Lol. Basia will never be forgotten. I do miss her.
"Kyle's almost dead"... omg! I think I spit coffee all over my screen... TOO FUNNY! What a great video Jason. Such a great spot. I'm totally jelly on that seated quarter. It's my white whaler... Keep Kyle hydrated. Great job guys!!!
Haha. Kyle was really spent. In his defense, we'd been out detecting almost 8 hours already, and it was a humid 98 degree day. If I wasn't digging old really old coins I might have taken a little snooze myself
That was a great yard! Great property owners to boot! Congrats on the Seated Quarter, Barbers, Merc, & IHP! Very cool relic finds as well. That brass piece with the cross hairs almost looks like it would've had a lens in it maybe to an old Telescope/Microscope maybe? Nice job and HH!
Thanks Jerimy! It's rare a find one yard with that many old coins in it. We barely covered 20% of it too, the grass is just too high in other areas. I might volunteer to mow though! Take care buddy
That's it I'm coming out east! Lol, What an awesome historic house. Can't believe that one section of it goes back to 1690. Congrats on your first seated quarter!
Haha, you have been traveling the country quite a bit hitting some really good stuff yourself! If you're ever up this way we'll leave the light on for ya!
Some truly amazing coins this week! I love how you pace your show too, it really is one of the best metal detecting channels and I look forward to it every week!
Great house!! I loved it. Great hunt! You really did well on the coins. Olive Oil !!! For the copper coins. I have restored a copper cent after letting it soak in olive oil for a few months. The gunk came off and I can see it so much better!
I've tried olive oil before on smaller coppers and it worked a little (I guess results may vary, lol). The large coppers are pretty special for me so any kind of submersion just makes me a little nervous.
Jason, Wow! congrats on all the awesome coins. Zehn = ten in German, the other word is the denomination, like Dollar. The hexagonal chrome thing is likely a car radiator cap from the 1920's and the mystery item is a welding torch tip. Fun times! Keep up the great work.
Thanks! The German coin was a real surprise. Theres was a big German population a few towns over (actually still called Germantown). I wouldn’t mind finding a few more of those!!
Kyle lost in the woods, and your other partner fratinizing, leave you with all the good stuff! Awesome finds Jason what a cool place. I thought you were going to lose your finds to Jules when she took off, congratulations on your 1720s coin! Look forward to your new permission. ATB HH AMY
Awesome hunt J.!!!You got some really cool old coins there.Definitely living up to that Quarter Hoarder handle with that Barber and that amazing Seated. Thats the kind of permission we're all looking for. Friendly, hospitable homeowners with a big yard that yields many top shelf targets, wtg!!You've inspired me, i wasn't going to but now i gotta get out swinging today.Have a good weekend Jason, ✌✌✌.
Thanks! The heat is brutal lately (at least up here). I probably drank 2 gallons of water by myself this hunt but it was worth fighting the heat. Not many yards produce like this one did! Best of luck if you head out!
Awesome finds! I recently found around 70 coins on a property with a large cent and 14 silvers and two indians. It's either feast or famine.. sure is fun..
Thanks, and yes a return trip has been scheduled. Hoping the land owner mowes, there was so much land that had 2’ high grasses just waiting to be hunted!
Quarter Hoarder actually in my town in kansas there is a house and a college dedicated to the people that built the town into what it is today. My parents just named me after them. But still it's pretty cool.
Awesome day hunting Jason. Great finds, would love to hunt a permission that old, nothing that old in TN lol. Those guys must be way too use to the air conditioning lol. Thanks for sharing Until next time HH&GL *Chris*
Thanks Chris. I'm fortunate to have colonial era houses up where I am but at least TN has a good shot at civil war relics. I wouldn't mind digging some CS stuff! Take care buddy
That's an incredible Seated Liberty , my favorite in a 1853 Stars & Rays . You guys have to go back or heck invite me over and I'll dig it , I only live California and can barely find enough time to walk my dog . Just get back there when it's not so blazing hot and show us more .
Great finds Jason, A huge congrats man. Super happy for ya. If you want to try, put a piece of foil in the bottom of a pan and bring some water to a boil. put the coin in the boiling water on the aluminum foil and put some baking soda in and boil for ten minutes, might take the black off of you silver coin. Nice to hear you say Basia. I will let you know my quarter count for the year. Huge congrats on that seated quarter. just amazing.
Thanks Mike. That’s exactly how I cleaned the tarnish off. I add a little salt too. There’s a good pic of it at the end and it looks great now. Basia’s quarter count would probably be beating mine by now. Those beaches she had were quarter magnets!
EARTH ANGEL😇 NICE “coin “ hunt,Jason !!👍 CONGRATULATIONS 🎈 on all those finds! A 1720 farthing, how great is that??!😳😍🤔Some of the 1st settlers in that area were Germans👨🌾👨🌾. Quarters were surely nice additions!😉😁. Brass plate looks like it was from. Small wooden chest. Always an axe head; always a harmonica reed !🤔! Beautiful home: lots more still to be dug. Are you going back???🤔😍👍👍👍
Hey Judine! A few towns over from where we were is called Germantown so you’re exactly right. I still rarely find a German coin at all, let alone an old one. The seated quarter was a real treat. I’ve been wanting to find one for so long I almost gave up hoping for it. Always great hearing from you. Talk to you soon.
Awesome permission. Thanks for sharing. Wish a person could see the travels of some of those coins. The stories they could tell up to the point of falling to the ground. Take care and be safe.
I think the same thing. My brain creates images of the person that might have dropped it. Just to think how much the world changed in the last 200 years it’s really mind blowing.
Quarter Hoarder 300 years! In 2020, that coin will be 300 years old. Now that is mind blowing (in addition to you being the next person to touch that coin after it was dropped!l)!
OMG! Barber 1891! Yahoo! Still watching vid but couldn't wait to comment. Maybe a trunk lock? Seated quarter..omg!! Just found out you are friends with JD. You're both really cool guys and great detectors! Y'all should collaborate.
Thanks Jan! I know JD and he’s a good guy, but he lives kinda far away. He’s always welcome to join us if he’s up this way. I always enjoy digging with friends.
Awesome hunt! I need to find places like that, and meet the farmers daughter 😍 I mean that in a very respectful way; so get your minds out of the gutter lol.
Jason, congrats on a great hunt with a nice variety of finds, love the seated quarter and tokens maybe on a future video you can show how you get permission live, that would be great, GL & HH
Love your digging. Try a jewelers loops, would do good for you to see the great coins you have discovered. It's small so you can carry in pocket. Enjoy!!
Hi Jason mate Really busy at the moment, got no time to even go detecting myself, so only a quick comment , hopefully I will be back to normal in a few weeks, hope you understand....... take care GL & HH Tom
I waited all week for part 2 and it didn't let me know! You said last week that you found more old coins and you weren't kidding. The German silver cleaned up great. You should do a video on how you clean your coins so well.
Thanks Beth. A video coin cleanup is a good idea. Some people are totally against cleaning coins though and nothing I do will change their minds. I just like to see enough details to be able to appreciate them.
Nice finds!!! I am with you on the chickens though... They are mean little critters.👍
Incredible hunt Jason! Huge congrats! I've found 5 seated dimes, still no quarter. LOL. Leave some quarters for the rest of us!!
It amazes me how you manage to get the homeowner's in the videos with you and even detecting with you. It's like an event when you show up! haha The coins you found in this video were great!
Thanks Hutch. I think most people are at least a little interested in what might they might find.
So amazing! What a great digging day you all had! What a great homeowner too to let you guys do some digging and so glad the owner's daughter was there too digging. So happy for all of you!

Thanks Patrick!
I don't know what I liked more, the German coin, the seated quarter, or the 1720 farthing! Great hunt Jason

On really hot or rainy days I watch videos to get me motivated too. It usually works, unless there’s lightning, then I’ll just watch more. Lol.

And isn't it neat that Jason is the next person to touch those coins after they fell to the ground! Love that.
Kay InMaine, I totally agree. Amazing to think about. Take care.
I think the same thing. My brain creates images of the person that might have dropped it. Just to think how much the world changed in the last 200 years it’s really mind blowing.
Mind blowing is exactly the way to explain it. Thanks again. Take care and be safe.
Quarter Hoarder 300 years! In 2020, that coin will be 300 years old. Now that is mind blowing (in addition to you being the next person to touch that coin after it was dropped!l)!

Awesome hunt! I need to find places like that, and meet the farmers daughter 😍 I mean that in a very respectful way; so get your minds out of the gutter lol.
Awesome hunt guys! really enjoyed watching! love the axe head!
Old axe heads are a real favorite of mine too. The homeowner showed some interest in this one so once I'm done cleaning it I'm gonna give it to him.
great hunt guys, torch tip the dividers in center stop the gas from swirling pattern on outside is called knurling
Thanks for that info!
Beautiful 1891 Barber. Congrats brother. Good luck and happy hunting.

NICE!!!! Im happy for ya bud. 😘😘😘🤙👍
Thanks Annette!
Awesome finds brother. I think you hit jackpot.
Thanks Luther!
great video enjoyed some nice silver finds
Thanks!
Awesome hunt Jason!!! I pretty sure the threaded thing is a nozzle for a torch.
I think that's exactly what it wound up being. I kinda had a feeling that piece wasn't old.
Great hunt. Who knows, the 1857 seated Quarter could of passed thru President Lincolns Hand at one Time, Awesome cool.
I wonder stuff like that too. I'm gonna say that it DID pass through his hands. Makes it more special that way! lol
That homeowner was some real eye candy. I'll trade you some wheat pennies for extra cut out clips! lol
I married so I didn’t even notice (my wife sometimes reads these). Lol.
Love your digging. Try a jewelers loops, would do good for you to see the great coins you have discovered. It's small so you can carry in pocket. Enjoy!!
You’re 100% right. I actually keep one in my dig bag in the car. Maybe I should carry it with me!
Hi Jason mate
Really busy at the moment, got no time to even go detecting myself, so only a quick comment , hopefully I will be back to normal in a few weeks, hope you understand.......

Greetings from friends from Austria. Interesting video.
That Seated Quarter was Awesome!
