hey i love your vids i am planning to go to do this trek this week in one day is it a problem to trek during the dark as i have seen in your video .Is it safe for beginner to do so and do we need to inform the forest department that we are planning to do it in one day ?
Hi Carry a good headtorch as it might get dark towards the end while descending. If you have this, hiking for a short period in the dark is okay. A beginner can do it, but I recommend preparing at least 2 weeks in advance. And, If you are not into any kind of fitness routine, then I will advise one or two short hikes too before this. Otherwise trek might become like an intense workout and less enjoyment. Hope that makes sense. Forest department will anyways keep a track on the number of people going in and coming. You need to register too, before going.
Thank you! Earlier there was no need for a prior booking. We could hike up to the forest check post & pay the amount directly to them and walk in (This is what I did). However, sometime at the beginning of this year, they decided to develop an online booking system to prevent extreme overcrowding, especially during weekends and holidays once the trekking season opens here.
I like how what you mentioned about enjoying nature and silence at such places.
Glad you relate to that. :)
Never heard of this particular place but you definitely enjoy hiking a lot. 😃 Good to watch.
Yes, I do. Thanks! :)
