Grenade - Bruno Mars | Kiyana Bongat Cover

4 years ago, I joined The Voice Kids PH Season 2 with the song “Grenade.” This changed my life. I was only 12 years old. Looking back to my blind audition, I saw so many errors. So many flat notes. I made a mistake in the beginning. My vocals were weak. I lacked confidence. After my audition, I always lacked confidence to sing this song. I feel like it’s that one song that I’ll always feel so weak to sing. Joining this competition did make so many changes to my life. I made so many new friends, got a hell of an experience, and gained somewhat of confidence. I’m very thankful for everything that happened. Even if I only did make it to the battle rounds, this will always be one of the best things that’s happened in my life. I decided to make an updated version of the song that got me there. Yes, there are still so many errors in notes and my vocals, but I wanted to prove that I still had some kind of vocal improvement. This song means a lot to me, so I only thought this would do it justice. I look like trash here as usual hahaha. Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed!
