    It would be very interesting if Chinese Peruvians went to China to learn more about Chinese cooking and then combine what they learned with Peruvian food to create more amazing Chifa. And I say this as a Chinese Malaysian. Most of the Chinese people in Malaysia are Cantonese and Hokkien, and you will also find Hakkas and Teochews. So the Chinese food that you can find in Malaysia are more limited to these styles of cooking. But in recent years, there have been more Chinese immigrants from other parts of China coming here to open restaurants and their food is absolutely fascinating to me. It's a part of Chinese culture that I've never experienced until recently. I recently had the chance to eat at a Chinese Muslim restaurant and I assume they are Uyghurs because they look like Uyghurs, and the food was very interesting to me too. Anyway, I've never tried Chifa, but it looks amazing! I hope I have a chance to try it one day. Can't wait for your next video about Chifa.

    • @funofboredom
      @funofboredom 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @LUIS RIVAS yeah, it would be interesting if more Chinese recipes were made with Peruvian ingredients. I hope I can find a Chifa restaurant in Malaysia.

      Since the last year or couple of years (might be wrong, but this is definitely recent) you can find more typical Chinese dishes in Chifas. At first, these were offered only to Chinese immigrants in a separate menu, but with time us locals have had the chance of ordering these new (for us) dishes.
      Also, I've recently found a couple of chifas from the Hakka region, and in the last couple of years there has been a festival from Chengdu, so we might find some food from there in Lima soon.

    Diese Videos sind so well done holy shit. Du hast mich schon mehrmals inspiriert, was neues auszuprobieren. Du hast mir die Welt von klassisch zentralasiatischen Gerichten mit deinem плов video gezeigt. Mein letzter Versuch war ein ziemlich erfolgreiche Portion бешбармақ, allerdings mit Lammfleisch, weil Pferd gibts bei meinem Fleischer nicht.🙈

      秘魯的中餐是僅次於秘魯的最消耗食品,這就是為什麼有很多辣椒的原因。如果您去秘魯,則必須去利馬市中心的唐人街,那裡有很多很好的地方。
