Hey there John! I just mentioned you in my new video. Thanks for the referral for the new sunglasses. Check it out! th-cam.com/video/XcfL1GjwJpw/w-d-xo.html
Nice video. Probably we'll head up to Oceanside Harbor this upcoming June. We'll let you know in case you want to tag along. And don't forget that we're making the Catalina trip in July.
If trimmed up you should get 65 to 67. If you launch with trim up your ski won’t bite as good and probably will cavitate some. You launch faster with trim down then trim up. You can double click trim to make trim work faster also. Trim down makes you stick better in turns, if turning hard and fast.
I get 68 mph always and sometimes touch 69. Doing first service now at 11 hours and adding a catch can and secondary bilge pump. Let’s see what this does when I get her back.
NICE! I tried sport mode in my 8th hour(ish) but did not go full throttle. After we did a 22mile ride I hit 12hours, then the next weekend (in this vid) I really payed with sport mode a lot.

Thank you and sounds good! Let me know when you're in Oceanside. We are excited to go to Catalina!
Nice video, thanks for the ride👍

Cool. Thanks. Good tips. Just trying to trim and full power at the same time....Id have to practice that. For sure would need a good flat surface.

Very cool! I do have the oil catch can from RIVA. What ski do you have?
@@TheOceansideGuy I have the Explorer pro 230 trick out as a fish pro.
Very cool!
Eco mode on mine is 37mph.
About the same here.
If you did it again would you get the 230 or 300. I like idea of not needing premium fuel in 230.
I would be very tempted to get the 300 but I know I would not need the extra power. So I'd stay with the 230
can u do a video on the seadoo anchor please?
Oakley SubZeros. We bought a new 300 and 230. The 300 is much more powerful but the 230 is a blast too. Did you wait until 12 hrs to try sport mode?

I will look into the Oakley glasses. Thx!
How many hrs you can drive with a full tank of gas ?
Great question. That I have not yet measured.
How much do they charge for launch and parking the trailer for the day?
Here at the Oceanside Harbor its $10 for the day. No docking or launch fee.
i use my neck gator to hold my hat on!
Good idea!
It would be nice to hear the speed.
Working on it. Next video.
Oakley splitshot
Thx!
Did you install a catch can on your machine?
No I have not. This is my first Sea Doo. So a bit unfamiliar with that.
@@TheOceansideGuy I don’t think I’m gonna install one on mine either.
Buy Costa’s Sunglasses.
I have I pair of costas and One of Maui Jim’s. I like the Maui’s better. But they are both good glasses.
He never said how many miles per hour on that second run. Wasn’t that the point? I’m a little disappointed in this one.
Oops. Did get it up to 64 miles an hour.
You think that’s surprising… should try a 300 , GP1800R SVHO or Kawi 310 😬 … once your seasoned ofc
