  • Crawfish, Shrimp, & Spinach Bread Tower
    - 1 loaf of Reisings French Bread
    - 1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter
    - 2 tbsp minced garlic
    - 1 1/2 cups whole milk
    - 1 lbs of Louisiana crawfish tails
    - 1 lbs gulf shrimp
    - 10oz frozen chopped spinach
    - 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
    - 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
    - 3 tbsp cornstarch & 5 tbsp cold water (slurry)
    - 5oz container of Shredded Parmesan cheese
    - Salt and pepper to taste
    1. Melt half stick of butter in Dutch oven on medium heat sauté garlic for 2 to 4 minutes.
    2. Add the remaining butter, milk, crawfish tails, crab meat, spinach, and Cajun seasoning to the pot.
    3. Give it a good mix and bring to a boil cooking for about 5 to 10 minutes until liquid reduces slightly.
    4. Stir heavy cream, corn starch, slurry simmer for five minutes.
    5. Add Parmesan cheese mix and turn off heat once cheese melts season with black pepper and salt to taste.
    6. Place bread in oven 375degrees to toast for 5-7mins
    7. Pull bread from oven then fill with mixture until full.
    If you want the liquid to be thicker, you may want to try to drain your spinach before adding.
