My second favorite Trek film after the mighty Khan
Director Nicholas Meyer simply GOT Trek. I just wish James Horner returned to score this one as well.

I don't like how the movies show the never-flown prototype Space Shuttle Enterprise as a predecessor when the space shuttle was named after the Star Trek ship. Federation cruisers were named after WW2 aircraft carriers.
