Very Cool, Thankyou. Awesome Demo/Review. I received one of these as a 'Customer Returned" with hard case a couple of Months ago. Straight out of the box, I was Amazed at how Beautiful the construction/Finish and look of this guitar Was. After a minor set-up issue, I could not believe how Special this guitar was to play. WOW. So awesome. I am convinced this guitar makes me a better player as it inspires me. Get one before they sell out again. Artist Guitars ROCK. All the best. Cheers
me too I got a Black 1, have a few Artists have the apricot LP love them best god dam value guitar you can buy, Artist have really improved quality and range over the years got my 1st a 3-4 years ago now
I grabbed one of these from the bargain bin a while back. Looks lovely but unfortunately had the bridge drilled at an angle. Once that was fixed and setup, they're a lovely guitar (don't worry, Artist looked after me). I'd planned on making mine into a Greeny/Moore when I get the chance.
Perhaps you could have demonstrated the clean sounds of both pickups by using a more suitable, higher-headroom amp, the sort most of us use live, rather than a studio-friendly low watt amp suitable only for overdriving the efficiency of the output valves. None of us now know what the pickups sound like clean, apart from an amp that you wouldn't use for that anyway.
I actually preordered the guitar this morning before seeing the review. So I've been waiting for this review for a while and I'm sorry to say I'm a little disappointed. Bob's review as always is great, super informative but it is just let down by the quality of the footage. It's terrible for a guitar review. It's out of focus, I can't even see the flaming on top even on highest image quality of 1080p and when bob showed the back of the guitar all I could see was the light/computer reflection. Such a shame. Sounds like a great guitar though, can't wait to get my hands on it.
Don't worry mate you'll be getting yours in the post soon and you can stare at your own reflection on that lovely shiny backside...of the gat of course

The intro is easily the best sounding Artist guitar I have heard.
