Elvis is on record as saying that, at this point, he'd decided not to make any more LPs: (a) it was too expensive (and you didn't make enough back on it), and (b) it was just too much hassle. It was apparently this session that made him remember the bits he'd loved about making an LP, and he went and made some more. So it's all good.
