The Acceleration is pushed towards left due to front wheel bumper placement. This makes your legs to make cross and accelerate it, you can check it once.
Although I own an Altroz but test drove this new Baleno. It feels so planted and the engine is butter smooth & fun to drive. The introduction of Euro NCAP tested Suzuki Global C platform has made it more safer than any GNCAP cars.
@Rajni Rider if they include TC in altroz cost will shoot up. Now Altroz XZA is 11.2 lakhs in Hyderabad. If altroz costs same as nexon what is the point. So I think that's why they didn't include TC. But altroz looks 👌. Nexon need to do some face lift or something. Since it launched many years back looks like old model
Baleno feels more bouncy at higher speeds. Altroz inspires much more confidence when cruising on highways. As far as engine is considered, the NA petrol engine is suffecient enough for a family car. If you need performance car then you can stretch to 1.0 L engine from VW. There is no point considering Baleno as long as you are hardcore maruti fans and features appeal you more than Baleno. I almost purchased Baleno alpha did all the paper works and then at last moment shifted to altroz dark just because of handling stability safety and design. Music system as well
Booked Altroz DCA for sheer comfort and certified build quality. Tata Motors ASS improved in last few years. Altroz DCA is perfect for day to day city travel and occasional highway tours. Refined drivers will really enjoy Altroz DCA.

@@VishalNema Hi Vishal, As of now I did two free service only. Overall service experience was OK. I escalated few issues to service manager and then issues were resolved. Regarding mileage, initially I was getting 8 to 10 kmpl in city heavy traffic (bumper to bumper) then mileage increased to 10-12 kmpl in same bumper to bumper traffic. AC always on at 24 degrees. In highway I get 23+ with AC always set at 24 degrees. I suggested you take extended warranty with DCA for sure. I test drove nexon amt but did not like it at all. Not sure about mileage in amt. Overall Altroz DCA is safe family hatch especially for city drives and occasional highway trips
Don’t mind.. but its personal preference… I feel this is completely one sided comparison… After watching so many videos and trying many cars I purchased Altroz XZ. I feel only 1 negative that is engine power or many will say pick up. Rest everything is good, I drove more than 2400 km trip in 4 days. It was best experience.
Prefer Baleno. Nexon base model has nothing but engine. That's it . If u want minimum features ,u have to go upto 11 lacs on road if u r in hyderabad or Bangalore. So considering engine power, refinement, price, maintaianance, mileage Baleno is best . Nexon has turbo engine but won't recommend base model

I bought Baleno Alpha AMT in March 2023 in Rs.12 lacs (including accessories, RTO charges, road tax, insurance) . I have driven it 2600 kms so far. My monthly running is around 1000 kms (70% highway & 30% city). Here's what I found - PROS - 1) Spacious cabin with ample legroom for rear occupants 2) Sufficient boot space with hydraulic tailgate 3) Auto dimming IRVM 4) Excellent headlights 5) Very silent refined engine CONS - 1) I regret buying AMT because it gives mileage of 18 to 20 kmpl. I have checked tank to tank mileage many times. I drive with lightfoot and never cross 80 kmph speed. Still it is giving so less mileage as compared to manual version. One of my friend has Baleno manual version & it gives him mileage of 23 to 24 kmpl. 2) No youtuber will tell you this but the rear part of Baleno (near rear grab handles) is bulkier. So when I try to do reverse parking, it creates a blind spot in ORVMs and hampers judgement. 3) IRVM and infotainment screen are so close that it creates a big blind spot on windshield. 4) Manual car gives you confidence that you can control car even at high speeds. But that is not case with AMT. 5) Front seats have good lower back support but equally bad mid back support. 6) Auto start stop system is very irritating. Though Maruti claims that engine will stop 15 seconds after pressing the brakes, in reality engine stops after 3 seconds or 5 seconds.
I agree with u on all pros and cons. Mid back support isn't that good. And that blind spot is really big. One pro u missed was the 360 cam in top model. That's one premium feature that's really useful in so many situations

I took both test drive, Altroz DCA and Baleno 2022. Baleno vs Altroz: 1) Seats are not wide horizontally to comfort, where as Altroz seats are wide horizontally. 2) Rear seats Baleno lacks arm rest compare to Altroz and also Altroz is scoped at edge door side, which is better. 3) Baleno suspension is little better compared to Altroz, Altroz feels like throwing effect comparing to Baleno. 4) Altroz DCA engine is not good at pick up, where Baleno will just rush comparing to Altroz. 5) Mileage Baleno and Altroz is good for build quality. 6) Touch screen of Baleno is far better compared to Altroz. 7) Baleno AGS and Altroz DCA (lag free but slow pick up feel laggy). 8) Steering Altroz little better compared to Baleno. Conclusion: Take test drive but don't buy any petrol or Diesel and use existing one 🤪🤪🤪. Today market is more fluctuating, wait for 1-2 years for proper EV vehicles, or proper bio fuel car support or else you will waste money on temptation than this minute improvements and marketing! 😂😂😂

But you will suffer via tools like touch screen, etc as features for that price (resale + good build body + suspension tuned well is the only points considered if base modal is preferred). If riding is your main concern, Baleno makes wise product. Note: Baleno CNG is also coming. If ready to wait. I would suggest, take test drive, most dealers give only 1-2km due to petrol cost. Visiting multiple show rooms, keep doing test drive until you become yourself expert and can relate all the points said via video and myself. But I would say, if you are planning to keep this product, check bio fuel percentage support in these car, most manufactures. Even if speaking with product expert from Maruti or Altroz (Jagruk janta).

These are very minute difference, as suspension wise talking. I think @Ashish, has to make detail small clips of any car rather making big length video, this given option of users to choose and check, what they want, rather watching everything.

There should not be any confusion. As you know both are almost same. Choose the one of which you like the exterior design and interior color. I already booked glanza top automatic because i need a more branded name on my car, of course toyota and i like the front design of glanza. If you are in a city, where there is toyota showroom and service center, i suggest go with glanza. If it is really far from your location, you can go with Baleno. Maruti has an edge of more service network.
Getting delivery baleno alpha amt today, I actually like Glanza design wise but Nexa showroom and service is few yards away from home so baleno is obvious choice. also for +12k you can extend warranty to 5 years like glanza.

As a renewed TH-camrs you are supposed to guide the viewers and say altroz DCA does not deserve the price or the hypr. Tata car (petrol) are overhyped especially by so called car and safety experts in youtube . Engine and gear box is the most important feature of car in where Tata sucks badly.
Maruti is better in every aspect except two - safety and looks. High time they make safe cars certified by NCAP. Our children's lives aren't cheap that just for more refined engine we accept their unsafe cars. Baleno is much lighter than the Altroz - ofcourse it helps it in performance and fuel economy but in my opinion this is not worth it. I will still choose Altroz.
Ncap is a private organisations. It is not a global standard. So not all car manufacturers sends their veichel or acknowledge its rating. Thanks to half witted TH-camrs we all have taken it as ultimate yardstick for safety. It is just a measure for crash worthiness in very very controlled environment at very less speed

If you are in a city, where there is toyota showroom and service center, i suggest go with glanza. If it is really far from your location, you can go with Baleno.
Maruti has an edge of more service network.
Getting delivery baleno alpha amt today, I actually like Glanza design wise but Nexa showroom and service is few yards away from home so baleno is obvious choice. also for +12k you can extend warranty to 5 years like glanza.
Yep Tata needs to work hard on the interior front not only for altroz but for nexon harrier also. Else lose to competition.

That’s a good comparison, covers a lot of points. What would you suggest among baleno amt, glanza amt, altroz dct or any cvt or other car in 10 lakh range. I would mainly use it for city driving with very occasional long trips.

For city Altroz dca is a strong product. I hv one and very satisfied. Check out other reviews and comparision videos as well.
If you want a tension free long term ownership, go for Baleno

As a renewed TH-camrs you are supposed to guide the viewers and say altroz DCA does not deserve the price or the hypr. Tata car (petrol) are overhyped especially by so called car and safety experts in youtube . Engine and gear box is the most important feature of car in where Tata sucks badly.

Altroz fees far better than new Baleno at High speed stability, confidence and comfort. (Apart from engine noise)(on mt)
Maruti is better in every aspect except two - safety and looks. High time they make safe cars certified by NCAP. Our children's lives aren't cheap that just for more refined engine we accept their unsafe cars. Baleno is much lighter than the Altroz - ofcourse it helps it in performance and fuel economy but in my opinion this is not worth it. I will still choose Altroz.
Ncap is a private organisations. It is not a global standard. So not all car manufacturers sends their veichel or acknowledge its rating. Thanks to half witted TH-camrs we all have taken it as ultimate yardstick for safety. It is just a measure for crash worthiness in very very controlled environment at very less speed

Value of life is any day more important than saving few rupees on mileage with Tin ka dabba Baleno! Altroz is the clear winner!

In highway, every vehicle is driven around 100kmph. no matter who causes the accident, you should have a good chance to survive.
