      North of Rush on the Missouri we average around 80 Goldeye a day, damn things hit square bills, whopper ploppers, anything.. Pain in the ass when you want smallies, but can't keep them off the hook!

    If your looking for a super sauger slamming area. Check out the red wing damn p3,4 of the mississippi in Mn in early spring jan Feb timeframe. Huge numbers and huge saugs.

    • @RushVoorhisOutdoors

    Just some places grow them bigger i wonder why that is 🤔🤔🤔

      I’m surprised about that. Here in Colorado a master angler Sauger or Saugey is 26 inches

    • @WheresTheSauce
      @WheresTheSauce 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MountainStateAngler 26" sauger is crazy!!!! Master angler here is 18" LOL and ive yet to catch one. All the walleyes ive caught in the upper 20's to low 30's and ive yet to catch a sauger over 16" myself.
      It realy boggles the mind why fantastic Walleye fisheries produce such pathetic sauger around here????
