my fav too...got a few on the LMR the other day on minnows drifted just off bottom under a bobber ...lost a musky once when my net handle came out just like that but with the fish in the net lol..
@RiverBloodfishing if u don't wanna travel too far for a musky. Goto Caesars Creek. Cowan lake has a few also but it 10 hp limit. Troll a wiggle wart magnum in fire tiger color parallel along the banks just so u bumping lay downs now n then.✌️
only sager fished a couple times here in tn years ago 3 of us we cought our limit that day cold weather fishing.i watched a video of richard gene he just used like 3 inch flukes bouncing off bottom a a dam and wore them out .your fried fish looks good .just had some crappie last night .
@@chiefbiglew Richard has a good technique just much stronger current on my lock walls need a little heavier jigs and weights I think they’ll hit anything when there fully running but man it’s fun
Great video. I haven't caught any sauger yet. I will have to check out the bank fishing videos. We don't have sauger here in MD. I now have family in Louisville and would consider getting out that way more often. If I do, sauger would be a big target for winter trips.
@@johnaufderheide6117 Louisville is a great spot for sauger it helps to have a boat there but some incredible bank fishing opportunities there for all species
Awesome trip bud. Keep the videos coming I learn so much.
I'll be out there tomorrow. Maybe we will see you. Good luck if you do get out
Nice catches, awesome video buddy
@@bluecatcurtis thank you Curtis

Try back trolling with your trolling motor on the compass heading drifting the river.

I would love to fish for Sauger, Never done it before. Live 15 min from ky river
@@Gokywildcats11 there in there and you can keep 6 at 14 inches
I have always wanted to try this. Where are you located? I am on Kentucky and Barkley lake.
Wish I was there with you. Your Sauger are breathing up all the oxygen in the bait cooler.
@@stevehogan8829 that’s a good point didn’t think of that need to make a better tank any way

Great video what boat ramp did you launch from

Do you ever lock through or just launch from downstream? I've never locked through.
@@justtinkering6054 I launch from down stream it’s quicker
