Jackie loved Jack..but she married for money and status. Her mother left her father when he lost his wealth, and it literally broke the man, he called Jackie the most beautiful child any father could ever ask for and left her sister Lee out. Jackie knew Lee was dating Onassis, yet still went ahead and married for the wealth. Onassis was reluctant to marry and later totally regretted it. His daughter Christina said Jackie was a witch, and cursed. And then Onassis son died, then their mother soon after, then Onassis himself. Christina always believed Jackie brought the bad luck to the family. And unfortunately Christina lost a child not long after and then had a daughter which was left motherless when Christina died too. Something about Jackie is right off. She was a cold hearted woman and was taught to marry for wealth. She famously said "first you marry for love, second for money and third for companionship. When she died, she was seeing a Diamond dealer billionaire who was still married. I can see she adored JFK in film and pics the way she looks at him, but she also knew the strength in the perception of others.

@Gigi1111Layna janet left john courier because he was spending all their money and cheating on her constantly. He was very emotionally abusive to janet.
When jackie was a small girl she was at a horse show with her mother and her father. A photographer took a photo of janet and john together and a friend of janets...the photo caught the friend and husband holding hands with janet standing right there!!
Janet was humiliated and in a time when women put up with a lot of crap janet divorced.
The poor man was broken as you say but he did it to himself. His wife was also broken feom the divorce but she had 2 kids to raise. She married a man who was ultra rich and from a good family and they blended their kids and raised them together.
John decided to continue to drink and sleep around and lose money. That's on him, not janets problem. She left him see his kids and they remained close to their father. He favored jackiebecause she looked like him...sorry for the spelling errors in this, my phone changes almost every word I write and I tried to proof read and change as much as I could but it's a pain to do and my auto correct just changes everything right back.

ONLY reason she prolly “tolerated it” was mostly because women couldn’t even have a bank account in their own name. How if she supposed to leave with her children if she can’t even have a bank account? Y’all gotta remember people before our time didn’t stay with cheating or even abusive men because they wanted to. They literally couldn’t leave. It’s not them being more faithful or “soft spoken”. It’s them being trapped.

I love Marilyn but she was wrong in this situation, and her sorrowful life isn’t an excuse, though it is a reason. Another thing, both Marilyn and Jackie married for money at some point in their lives, both have done rights and wrongs, just because Marilyn is more conventionally attractive doesn’t mean she is better. Both women have been mistreated in some way, just let them rest in peace.
