The main issue is that the people that physically make those expensive products, for those expensive brands, are being treated poorly, made to work for almost nothing, for too long of hours, in horrible conditions and with equipment that is rigged and ends up hurting them in the process
I don't know if it was dior or Chanel, but African workers were the initial subcontractors. Then those workers asked for more money and better working conditions. That's when they brought in the Asian workers.

how is this any different to the likes of temu or shein? if I were wealthy I wouldn't be buying Dior or Gucci bags, their quality is actually shit! look into true luxury brands that are transparent about their production process or get something custom made then you will be the only one who will own it.
