For us to understand the significance of Ornn forging a blade in the cinematic, we must know first that Ornn swore not to forge any more weapons of war after Volibear and his followers slaughtered all of Ornn's disciples, with the very weapons Ornn and his disciples forged for Volibear and his followers. Seeing Ornn forge a weapon after his vow signifies that a massive war or conflict is now looming and approaching...

The huge tree in the cinematic where Ryze is, is the tree that made the walls of Demacia. The Petricite. It absorbs magic so it's perfect container for the Runes he is collecting. It prevents the runes to release magic energy that could endanger the world.
Sometimes it amazed me how good and very detailed their lore is to the point that I'm more interested on the lore than the game itself.
I mean, seriously.... its almost divine when people can create world structures so detailed.
One Fact: The one u called Volibear isn't Volibear. Its an Ursin who prays to the Volibear which in return transforms then into half bear half human like creatures. Volibear itself is a primal god. You can see a picture of him as seju yells.

Fun fact: in the lore, he's called "The Volibear", not just Volibear. He also has other names, like Valhir. You can hear some of them in his champion theme iirc 🤔.
There are three full Pentakill albums. The first album is Karthus, Olaf, Mordekaiser, Yorick, and Sona. The second album introduces Kayle as a female vocalist and the third album was entire interactive concert experience with Viego as a heavy metal screamer/singer as an antagonist to Pentakill.

@@NerdyBigBrother If you do the Pentakill live performance video, I'd recommend watching the video "Accounts of the Aftermath" first, it sets the scene and hypes it up and has some really cool artwork. (Theres a few really cool Pentakill lore videos with Viego that Riot set up the album with)
Pentakill is one of my favorite in-universes for League, and a fun fact about that music video is basically their song is used to summon Kayle, the angel of rock metal.
I think Drew was talking about something when it happened, but when they summoned Morde, that shit felt next level for me the first time I saw it. Honestly they made that universe incredible

Just wanted to give a small tidbit of lore of Ornn. He is the god of the forge, he once made himself a fork. A simple fork he made and later threw to the sea where a merfolk took it. It was such a powerful trident that he used it to rule the waters.

@@NerdyBigBrother In that cinematic, that expedition from Olaf and Sej is to find another "simple" item made by Orrn, a bowl which is told that can feed entire villages. (Their people is starving due to the lack of food)

@@NerdyBigBrother to add to that, Ornn also made a door once, and after thousands of years the stone that was holding the door in place eroded away and the door fell over. The support Braum found the door one day and has been using it as a shield and it is one of the strongest shields in the league universe.
It sounds like you already plan on showing off the music videos and alternate universe animations (the ones that focus on skin lines), so the only 2 things I'd recommend would be Terror in Demacia, and if you're feeling gung-ho towards the end of this series, Necrit's video called "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" can help with understanding a lot of the relationships between characters, locations, while also generating hype for a confirmed project.

Seriously doing a cinematic + lore breakdown reaction from necrit is something i like watching from reaction videos.
A little bit of lore about Viego the Ruined King and the Ruination...
Viego was once a powerful king of the far eastern kingdom of Kamavor. He is married to Ysolde (pronounced "ee-sold") whom he loves dearly. But as most powerful leaders have it, Viego has a lot of enemies and may attempted to have him assassinated. Unfortunately, one assassination attempt that was supposed to be aimed at Viego, accidentally claimed Ysolde's life. Much was Viego's grief and denial about his wife's death that he became obsessed with finding a way to resurrect her, until finally, he found a potential way of resurrecting Ysolde in the then called Blessed Isles.
Upon arriving at the Blessed Isles, Viego was welcomed warmly by the monks that guard and maintain the Isles. But when Viego requested a ritual to be performed on her wife to be resurrected, the Elder monks denied him, saying it violates the laws of life and death. Viego did not relent and threatened to destroy the isles with his army if they did not comply. The elders had no choice but to follow his demands. To make it simple, something went wrong with the ritual, and Ysolde's spirit came back as an angry spirit, asking Viego why did he returne her back from the dead and why cant he let her go and let her rest. The botched ritual was starting to corrupt the Isles, and Ysolde had to stab Viego in the heart with his own blade, to stop him from continuing the ritual. But it was too late, the ritual released a massive corrupting wave that spread through out the Blessed Isles. And that event was forever known as the Ruination. The island is now covered by a corrupting heavy fog (called the Black Mist) composed of the corrupted souls of all the living things that was present in the Isles during the Ruination. The Blessed Isles is now gone, only the Shadow Isles remained.
Decades later, it was revealed that Viego was still "alive". He was now the one controlling the Black Mist and his goal is to find the pieces of Ysolde's soul that was shattered during the Ruination, to once more bring her back.
One of Ysolde's soul shard was in Senna, and in the video, you can actually hear Ysolde warning Senna when Viego and the Black Mist was approaching, and when Viego was slowly pulling her out of Senna.
Senna and Lucian are members of the Sentinels of Light, an elite group of warriors from Demacia, trained to be uncorruptable and to fight off the Black Mist, especially during the Harrowing when the Black Mist spreads out beyond the Shadow Isles and terrorises the nearby ports and cities...

Not sure if it was said or not in the comments but you were partially right about jhin’s traps. They do actually look beautiful to everyone when they go off but it’s just a magical illusion in the traps which make the blood and gore turn into pretty colors. You can see the illusion turned off in the Zed comics which is a great read
In Warriors, the Garen/Lux/Sylas portion is in Demacia. But it's in the northern section at one of the garrisons along the border of the Freljord. Which is where Sylas went after he escaped from the Demacian mage prisons. That's why he's wearing the furs and leading an army of Freljordian warriors to attack the Demacian Keep.
If you go into the music side of things, you definitely need to show him the Worlds videos.
KD/A is an obvious choice as well.
Pentakill has 3 full albums. Smite & Ignite was the 1st, Grasp of the Undying the 2nd and the most recent Lost Chapter. The Pentakill songs are as good, if not better than the stuff coming out from "real" bands. Everyone raves about KD/A, and they seem to get all of the hype and attention from Riot. But There are those of us who remember that Pentakill is where the music side of Riot started.
Something else about Pentakill songs, they are all named after an item that is (or in some cases, was) in the game.
If he's into rock, you all should definitely react through the Pentakill albums. They don't get nearly the attention they rightfully deserve (not even from Riot).
If you do react to the albums, I HIGHLY recommend watching the promo shorts they released for the 3rd Album. They actually built a whole seperate universe just for Pentakill with it's own lore. It's insane. Sadly (in my opinion) the interactive concert failed to do the band or the album justice, but was still a halfway decent watch.
With Senna and Lucian, there are really 3 cinematics that lead up to the encounter with Viego. the teaser and full cinematic for the release of Senna as a playable champ, and The Climb. Riot even explained that Senna's trailer was the first time they had really tied a cinematic directly into a previous one. If/when you check them out with your buddy, be sure to watch them in proper order. With "Dark Passage" first, then "The Climb" and "Shadow's Embrace" last. Even though the Climb came out before the others, the order will make perfect sense once you watch the three together.
Following up on that, you should also go through some of the more current champion trailers. Especially for champions he might not be familiar with, or those which had reworks since he stopped playing. There is so much lore being put into the trailers in the past few years. It's not just random semi-cool showcases any more. It's all about world building these days and making sure all of the champions feel interconnected with the rest of the existing lore and world in some way. Warwick's rework cinematic (and even the trailer for his Wild Rift release) are just pure world building and character development. The Fiddlesticks rework cinematic is just a masterpiece. The Bel'Veth teaser and trailers... so good and tie into aspects of characters that have been in the game since the beginning. It really is a whole universe they are building that goes so much deeper than anyone would expect just playing the game.
Even in many of the ones you watched here, there are continuity tie-ins and callbacks/easter eggs hidden throughout the newer event and champion cinematics. Like if you've watched A Twist of Fate, you can see that the top Ryze's scroll is still cut from his fight with Nocturne in that cinematic. Or even the fun ones, like if you pause the Mortal Reminder video when Karthus is flipping through the pages of his tome, there's literal a frame showing a page with a list of items' names, with the ones that Riot has removed from the game over the years being crossed out. A complete you have to know it's there, and do work to see it Easter Egg just because they could. And they do this type of stuff in pretty much every video coming out.

btw Pentakill has 3 albums and a full length concert that aired about two years ago. The concert was actually performed live by real artists and slapped 3D models of the characters onto them. Its really cool.

@@NerdyBigBrother The first and second album was played in a ceremonial opening final (2015 and 2017) of CBLOL which is a brazilian league of its esport. CBLOL is the only regional league that matches the quality of Worlds championship openings. Really! (well 2015 wasn't any Worlds opening yet, so it was too easy xP)

Just a bit of context for The Call. Kai'sa is helping Taliyah amd they get ambushed by the Xer'sai, children of Rek'sai. Rek'sai appears and Kai'sa decides to go back into the place she came from if it means that Rek'sai can't get to Taliyah. Basically, going back into her hell just after she got out of it.
Pantheon(in this case, Atreus) is at Mount Targon. For some backstory, Atreus was the host for the Aspect of War called Pantheon. Pantheon ended up taking full control of Atreus when they went to fight Aatrox which led to Pantheon dying but Atreus living and Aatrox in a sword. From there, Atreus starts to hate the Aspects and goes to Mount Targon, where there is a portal to the world of the Aspects and where people become hosts of Aspects. When he fights the 4 soldiers, he puts down his weapon as he doesn't want to raise one against mortals. Leona, the host of the Aspect of the Sun, shows up and he fights her. During the fight, a meteor strikes them. Who does it is unsure. Most likely Aurelion Sol. Atreus, after getting hit, finds out that he still has residual power from Pantheon which he uses to fly away.
For Sejuani, she is trying to find an artifact that can feed her people. That artifact is under the possession of the Ursine, a tribe that worships Volibear, a demigod. The Ursine was granted power by Volibear which made them look more like a bear and let them control lightning. Also, the guy with two axes might not be Olaf since Olaf just wants to die but can't because he is too strong for his opponents.
Ornn is just chilling and making a sword.
That is all really great context for me actually. Great write up!!

Answers to some questions : 1. NOT Vel'koz in Ryze cinematic 2. Aatrox did that to the statue in the call 3. NOT Volibear in The Call cinematic, they are the Ursine, followers of The Volibear which is the brother of Ornn and Anivia (Primal gods of Freljord). Though you can see his spirit being called in the SKY. 4. I dont think it's an Infinity Edge that he's forging but this is CANON lore.. There is also a follow up to The Call that is an introduction to the champion Bel'veth 5. Awaken is most likely canon too it has 3 locations with different events that did happen 1rst being the Ionian invasion, 2nd Riven fighting in the colosseum before being exiled I think* and 3rd Camille chasing Jhin in piltover which I think it before he got to Ionia but not certain about that. I also think warriors is canon but I really ain't certain about it.
The best video to get context in a general way that is recent enough about the lore is the video ''The world of Riot mmo is already done'' by Necrit. Very generalized but very good to start learning the lore of Runeterra in general.. I would watch a reaction of that.

Atreus was an incompetent soldier that was deemed unworthy by the Aspect of War Pantheon himself. Unlike Leona or Diana, his body was completely taken over until Pantheon was killed by Aatrox. "The God died, the man lives" as Atreus rose up and cut off Aatrox hand, gaining access to a portion of Pantheon power (through Pantheon spear and shield).
What essentially happened in The Call was that when Viego revived Pantheon, Atreus once again laid dormant in his own body, hence his frustration when he returned as he felt like a human will was nothing in the face of higher beings. However, since he is The Mantheon, the most GIGACHAD character, he found his wil, climbed mount Targon, fought Leona and her minions with absolutely zero aspect power, just pure manpower.
I guess I havent realized how epic Pantheon actually is!

A fun little fact that I thought was cool they included in The Call was that Pantheon (or Atreus in this case. Pantheon choose Atreus to be the vessel of the aspect of war btw) fought those Solari soldiers as another soldier just using a shield, only when another aspect showed up he uses his spear.
Atreus is all about fair fighting and he hates aspects due to how they spit on humanity and think they're superior.

Another great thing I noticed is that in Warriors when Lux calls her wand you can see for a second that the wards around her stopped for a second and turn to her.
That's because magic is feared and forbidden in Demacia (where Lux and Garen are from), and they didn't knew Lux Crownguard (one the noble families of Demacia) was a mage!
And Lux didn't care to show her powers to everyone just to save his brother, even if that meant that they would exile or even kill her for being a mage.
I loveed the final scene where everyone lines up on her back while Lux charges her final spark.

I`m sorry but it`s criminal that you didn`t watch The Ionian Myth cinematic. I would like to recomend doing Ornn cinematics ( 3 videos ), voicelines of champions, like if you played LoL you will have a heartattack from happines while listening to the interactions between champions! The video was dope, keep it up!

I hear a lot of calls for a movie, but it takes Fortiche studios so much time and effort to produce 3-6 minute cinematics that we'd be waiting for a generation for a film to be made.
Ryze is the most powerful mortal wizard in the entirety of runeterra (the world in wich all the lore of League of legends takes place) and is pretty old. He has witnessed the "rune wars" wich almost destroyed Runeterra. In the cinematic you can see him collect these Runes and store them in a place only he knows where it is. He defeated his own master who had succumbed to the power of one of the "world runes" wich are incredibly powerful and have a mind on their own. He just used his own magical power to do so. Also he tried to train someone to help him keep the runes safe, but that person also fell for a rune and is now the champion Brand.
The ARAM map "Howling Abyss" might be a bridge connecting Demacia and Freljord, wich is where Sylas fled to after escaping prison in Demacia wich was probably shown in the Warriors cinematic.
Last Year there was a huge event featuring Pentakill with a virtual concert where viewers could interact with it. It featured a new batch of pentakill skins including one for Viego as the opponent to the original 6 Pentakill characters. Pentakill as three albums; the first one was Smite & Ignite featuring skins for Karthus, Yorick, Mordekaiser, Sona and Olaf. The second album brought a skin for Kayle as a new member to the band and the third album brought the new batch of skins and the addition of Viego to the skin line. There are more artists that join in to pentakill than there are members. Karthus is sung by Jørn Lande, Kayle is being performed by Noora Louhimo, frontwoman of the band Battle Beast and it appears that Viego is given voice by Tyler Smith of The World Alive. Every song is named after an Item that is or was in the game.
Seriously thank you for that write up and effort. Ryze is absolutely going to make some kind of bigger appearance here soon whether its a TV show or movie, I can just feel it

Great point! Honestly if only a couple of them were shown at first I might have recognized them as an individual creature! But the mass amount of them makes my brain not want to focus in on them individually.
Awaken is still in my playlist since seeing the cinematic debut. And it never fails to give me chills.

Lux was so reluctant to do anything because in Demacia it is strictly forbidden to use magic to a point where there is "inquisition" that hunts people with magic abilities and imprisons them. She, as a royal is hiding her powers to be able to live a normal life. Then this battle happened, it is a real part of the lore, Sylas returning with army he built in Freljord to take revenge on Demacia after being imprisoned there for years. He managed to escape thanks to Lux's hidden powers because he managed to steal a "spark" from her and escape thanks to it. In this battle, Demacia would have lost, Lux saw her brother is about to be murdered by "her mistake" so she decided to sacrifice her normal life for him and come out of hiding as a mage. She cast the Final Spark into the sky for a reason. These huge statues (Galio is one of them) sense big spikes of magical power and come to help, so she basically called one of them to help them in the fight. Demacia emerged victorious after this.

When I said Champion teasers, I meant small videos that tease new Champions, might be interesting for your friend who hasn't seen a lot of League after he quit his Kennen journey lmao! They have tons of those on the League TH-cam channel, I could hand pick a few in a compilation and send that to you?
For voicelines, those are a bit more lenghty and go deeper into the lore, but they make for fantastic reacting videos and reach the same LoL community that usually help channels grow.
The most popular ones reactors usually start with are : Aatrox, Pantheon, Fiddlestick, Swain & Jhin.
As a Kayn main I obviously am biased into recommending his voicelines to your attention hehe. My playlist on my channel has his voicelines for both skins in seperate videos. Those took a long time to edit and compile, I made them for myself and for reactors, since the Skin Spotlight videos for Kayn aren't great! 😒

@@NerdyBigBrotherthat place is in Demacia. Demacia is in the middle of a magic absorbing forest. Those trees are petricite. Demacians use it to build everything including their city, weapons, and constructs like Galio. Play Legends of Runeterra. You'll see other constructs.

in the video at 28:50 min the statue is of xolaani a darkin. the massive gash was caused by Aatrox who hates her for the part she played in the darkin war and the usage of blood magic now associated with the darkin.
the best part about League of Legends is the more you know, the more and more bad ass each cinematic becomes.
Yeah, every one of these is from the lore. Warriors is my favorite video cause it shows that fight in Demacia. Lux was reluctant to use her abilities because the kingdom frowns on magic. I don't know if anyone commented this yet, but Sylas was a little bit of a mentor to Lux while he was imprisoned. She, unwittingly, helped him break out by touching his hand, and he absorbed some of her magic to escape. She felt responsible and tried to stop him. Garen didn't even know she had magical abilities; in the comic, he is told by Sylas that he has magical blood as well (Sylas is technically only able to absorb magic in the lore, which is why he summoned Garen's sword). If you get the chance to read some of the comics of hers, they're really good and they show you a bit of that lore for Demacia.
Sylas can absorb any magic and use it however he wants, unlike in the game where he steals a specific ability. Ironically, Garen doesn't use magic at all. When he uses his R in-game, he's actually praying to the Aspect of Justice (Kayle) which answers his call by dropping a huge blade from the heavens. Knowing this, it's kinda weird for Sylas to have used magic to mimic his sword 🤔.

Since everyone point out everything that I know of, here is one of the smallest fact: in Awaken, you can see Camille using her passive through her eyes. It turns orange (AD) for a bit and turn back to blue (AP) as she trying to make a shield to fit with the dmg, but since Jhin E is doing both AD and AP, she got confused.
I think Vel'koz was not supposed to be the watcher in the Ryze cinematic, but it makes me happy to believe it is.

Feel like Draven got a little shafted in the Awaken cinematic. A lot of people don't notice on their first watch that he throws Riven's sword at her chains to cut her free so they could have a more fair or entertaining fight and assume he just missed her.
And even more, after watching someone do an extensive breakdown of the cinematic, I'm convinced that they rearranged scenes from the fight. Draven grins > Riven headbutts him > final clash.
If you look, Draven already has a bloody nose when he grins. I believe Riven actually headbutts him FIRST. He eats it and grins, giving us this little badass moment for him to show that despite him struggling, he's having some fun.
The animators probably wanted to give them both their cool moments, but someone higher up or in marketing told them to swap the scenes around to make it look more in line of Riven putting Draven in his place.
It's a minor nitpick, but I don't see why they had to upsale Riven at the cost of diminishing Draven. She was already doing some awesome work and being badass without the help
The cold area Lux and Garen were in is called the Freljord, they were there since Sylas broke out of prison in Demacia and started a mage revolution (since Demacians are kind of racist toward mages due to the rune shit that Ryze’s story is based around) and the tree you see in Call of Power is in Demacia.
Sylas teamed up with some Freljordians to fight off Demacia, and he chose to go there since it neighbours Demacia and Freljordians tend to be quite unpredictable and aggressive toward others.

The League of Legends World Championship's music videos go absolutely crazy, I think those are incredible for reactions too, as well as having many easter eggs for people who know some stuff about the Pro League scene. They started these in 2014, done one every year since, I believe.

The "Ruined King" has been a character in the Lore for a long time. But he was more like a myth.
Just recently Riot decided, to turn him into a full champion.
However we can never be sure how long in advance they are planning something. I mean we got champion-reworks with teasers for Arcane almost 5 years beforehand.
I think they strategically (or luckily) released information in perfect amounts. they have the freedom to "announce" something years in advance knowing it can take any form it needs to when the times comes. Everything ends up working out it appears. Superior story telling!
If you want more info about the cinematics. Necrit is the best for lore and he covered all the latest cinematics about what is lore or what is happening.
28:50 - The "claw mark" was made by Aatrox on the statue of Xolaani. She is another darkin that uses blood magic to control others, including other darkin (before she got corrupted, she was a healer so I guess that's how she learned blood magic). She hates wars and wants to make peace in the world through servitude. Hers is the one will.

Demacia lore dump to clear up the ambiguity at 20:05;
Garen is the leader of a unit called the Dauntless Vanguard within the Demacian military. Several other characters in the game are also part of that unit. Xin Zhao, Quinn, and Fiora are members, and Demacia's crown prince Jarvan IV is also a member. Sion's lower jaw is actually the crown of Jarvan I who he killed in battle. The dauntless Vanguard was hunting a dragon when they encountered Shyvana, who was hunting the same dragon because it had killed her father, who was also a dragon. She and the members of the vanguard consider each other to have each others lives in that fight and are strong allies because of it. Demacia has an extreme distrust of mages and makes a habit of imprisoning them in torturous conditions. Sylas is leading a revolt against this practice in this cinematic. Lux is only spared this treatment because she was born into an influential family. The walls and especially the prisons in Demacia are built out of petricite, a mineral that absorbs and negates magic. Galio is a massive petricite golem built to protect Demacia by one of its greatest craftsmen.

U guys should take a look at the live consert Pentakill did called (Pentakill III: Lost Chapter - An Interactive Album Experience) its a 45min long live in caracter concert Pentakill and Riot did together with streamers showing up and mentioned a few times as they rock. The visual quality isent up to par with the cinematics but ofc the band is playing live with some kind of motion capture layered ontop as we se the caracters move. That was 1 hell of an event.
The giant claw mark is actually from Astro’s destroying that statue because it is a statue of Xolani who was a fellow Darkin who betrayed them

Jhin is arguably league's most perfect champion, and It's not just mine opinion, many-MANY people think the same. And I personally think, that bow in "Awaken" was a reference to his ultimate, because it called "Curtain call" or to one of his emotes where he bows in a same way.
I am not sure if its fact, but I like to think that when Jhin is bowing, he is aiming his grenade on his shoulder

Just a supposition but there is a guy named Necrit, kind of our Lore king, that do League of legend's lore video, and there is videos that summarize the LoL history all around Runeterra (the name of League of legend universe/ planet). There is a lot to learn easily in "the story of league of legend" and "the world of Riot MMO is already done"
Yo double comment but just finished the video. Do more league content. Check out all of the Legends of Runeterra cinematics. They will not disappoint. But if you want another game recommendation with the best cinematics I would say check out Diablo.

In the comics, Shen shows up to the aftermath of the Jhin v Camille fight. There is an open trapdoor in the stage, and the piano is smashed. It would seem that Jhin bowed, and dropped through the trapdoor to leave Camille hirtling into the piano. The whole thing was an immaculately planned middle finger to Camille. Jhin is, in fact, a virtuoso, lol!

I am also sad that they didn't make any more songs for True Damage - It is so awesome. Also, did you see at 0:07 in the video the Arcane tease poster? Remember, this is 2019 - Arcane came out in 2021 ;) And I strongly recomment to check out the 2019 worlds opening ceremony - it is amazing!
Also, I think you would absolutely love the ionian cinematic of the brothers Yasuo and Yone. They are called "The Path, An Ionian Myth | Spirit Blossom 2020 Animated Trailer" and "Kin of the Stained Blade | Spirit Blossom 2020 Cinematic".
Another one high up in my tier list is the "Annie- Origins" cinematic - an absolutely beautifully crafted cinematic which stands out with it's unique grafics.
Also I am not sure if you are familiar with the general story of Darkins. Essentially they were ascended shuriman golden warriors which were tainted and became so called 'Darkins' - then though some story twists they were sealed into weapons and everybody who touches this weapon will be overtaken by the Darkin. It is best you watch the explanation from Necrit to one of the best champion introductions so far: The cinematic is called "Naafiri - Hounds of Iron". The champion will be released in the game in a few days. Another good one to watch and directly continues after "the Call" would be "All That Will Ever Be | Bel'Veth Cinematic". This was a champion introduction cinematic from last year and she is a 2nd force in the war against the Void. BTW. The Call has the 3 stories that revolve around the cinematic finally directly pinned in the comment section of the video - just if you want to read any further. All in all I advocate for you to watch Necrits video "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" because you just get a better picture of all the different story lines of Runeterra. Most people only know Arcane and tbh this is only a tiny fraction of what the world has to offer.
As for the ruination - there are a bunch of trailers and cinematics that help you get an idea of the Ruination Story. You have to watch them in a certain order so you won't be confused - just for now I want to explain that Viego took the "blue crystal ball" from Senna which is a part of Isolde's soul that has been hidden within Senna and Gwen (the doll Isolde sewed by herself and awakened with her soul). Viego is collecting her soul in order to revive her "she IS my world" - Isolde is his dead wife. They also have a book released about the ruination event which is very good. Necrit called it the Game of Thrones of League :) I hope one day they make a movie ! The League universe (Runeterra) has so much potential!
Also maybe you want to watch the star guardian cinematics and trailers together and in order. The Star Guardian alternative universe is up to now the biggest Lore parallel universe they crafted so far.

you are absolutely right about riot setting a very high standard, the shot of jhin bowing is my second favourite shot of all time. The cinematics riot make are eclipsed only by blizzard's cinematics imo. The wow expansion trailers are unmatched in terms of animation. And the diablo 4 announcement trailer ("By Three They Come") is for me the best game trailer ever created (my absolute favourite shot is from there). If you feel like it i'd love to see you reacting to these. It was very enjoyable to hear you explaining to him the videos after and the discussions... and also i just need to mention that the room setup is super cool!

The Call is my favorite cinematic, My boi Ornn looked so good.
But Warriors, is so good, always get chills and nostalgia when watching it.
Also a bit of back story on Ornn, He is Volibears Brother and refuses to fight human conflicts. So as Volibear gave the humans strength and power, Ornn just chills. Ornn and Voli end up fighting over the difference between helping and staying out of human conflicts and they fight, but kills of Ornns followers and fellow black smiths on the base of the mountain/volcano which Ornn resides. Also Braum stole Ornns front door and uses like a shield.
You should watch the live perfomance of "Giants". That was so awesomeee♥ And if you liked the "style" of the music video, you should watch "More" by K/DA a girl group with Akali, Ahri, Kai'sa and Evelyn! And a Conceptual Video called "Villain" where you can see different ideas of what Evelyn is like with an awesome music and graphics.
Yeah, he has no idea how far out Riot plans their characters. They may not have all the details, but they have rough character ideas like a decade before they come out (some of them). For example, Elise was a Halloween Easter Egg that was laying in a coffin in the corner of the Main Map about 8 years before she came out.
That being said, they are ok with rapid change too. Urf the Manatee was supposed to be a character, but they decided he was too silly and wrote into lore that Warwick ate him. Now he is a spirit that shows up during Halloween AND the force behind the Ultra Rapid Fire game mode (which is why there is a kind of seal bark that they use as the background music).

6:15 - it's probably a watcher in the Ice, i guess ? There Void Beeings that lust for Annihilation, they got a whole Story Arc to them with Lissandra, Freljord etc. Atleast it looks like a Watcher kinda.(Ryze Story Arc - He's trying to lock away the "World Runes".)
16:30 - The Event is called "The Great Mage Rebellion", because Demacia had a whole Anti Mage Propaganda and Sylas was imprisoned because of his Magic. There is so much to learn in the LoL Lore, thats why i love it and every Day you find something new and exciting.
22:00 - The Beginning of the "Ruination Arc", which is kinda interesting and has a good Game about it.
I don't want to spoil anything about the Lore, because it's fantastic to read it and i'm not 100% sure about it, thats why i just put up the Story Arc's, for further Research.

For jhin and camille, their was a continuation of the fight but was never shown. This was in zed and shen comics. In the comics, it showed only the aftermath of the fight and for jhin he looks fine and continuing his plan for zed and shen

LoL have tons of lore, if you want i recommend Necrit he is your lore master, who talks about regions, champions stories and more

The bridge in Warriors is not the ARAM bridge. That is a bridge in Demacia, the ARAM bridge is in Freljord that crosses into where the watchers are frozen underneath true ice. Fun fact, Ornn built that bridge

Some lore corrections for you:
First Cinematic: Ryze is the good guy in this situation. He and Brand are racing each other to gather the World Runes, the magical artifacts that created and control the natural elements of the world. In time long past, mortals used these runes basically as nuclear weapons, and killed millions. Ryze witnessed it, and wants to prevent it from ever happening again, so he is gathering them and hiding them in the petricite forest. Petricite is a type of tree that grows in Demacia, a region that was first settled by refugees of the Rune Wars and that absorbs magic. Most people think that it counteracts magic, but in reality, it acts kinda like a battery, storing it, and Sylas can actually tap into the magic that's stored in the petricite. In the Lux comic, which is the immediate predecessor to the Lux/Garen/Sylas story in the third cinematic, he taps into the petricite in the royal palace of Demacia to use Kayle and Morgana's magic that's been stored there since the sisters fought in the palace centuries ago.
Second Cinematic: I don't really have any major lore corrections. Just that Jhin is the best character and that entire thing was badass.
Third Cinematic: The ice area that they're in is actually the Freljord. After the king of Demacia, Jarvan III, was killed during the mage rebellion, Sylas, Lux, and a number of mages that were hiding out in the city of Demacia itself fled north into the Freljord, seeking asylum, as their home nation is quite literally committing a genocide on them. Lux's last name is Crownguard, and she and her brother Garen are nobles. Their aunt leads the Mageseekers in their quest to commit genocide on anyone born with magical abilities. Using their influence, they are able to hide Lux's magic from most of the city and prevent her from getting arrested and killed by the Mageseekers. Lux is also powerful enough to awaken Galio, the petricite golem, singlehandedly. Also, when you said that it was gonna be Awaken, I was thinking to the first time they did this song in 2014 with the original artists, Imagine Dragons, as the musicians.
Fourth Cinematic: Lucian and Senna's entire story has been told in cinematics pretty much. Senna was killed and her soul trapped in Thresh's lantern. However, Lucian freed her, and now the pair are hunting to kill Thresh and eventually Viego, the Ruined King, before he can claim more victims. The blue soul-looking thing that Viego pulls out of Senna isn't her soul itself, but rather, a piece of the soul of Viego's wife and queen, Isolde. He's looking for her relentlessly, killing anyone who gets in his way and taking their spirits to add to his undead army. However, she is resisting him, and everyone and everything that a piece of her spirit finds grows into something to help fight back against him.
As for the True Damage one, not a single champion in that band actually deals true damage in-game. The closest it gets is that Yasuo gets 50% armor pen after using his ult.
