Love Amsonia, have Storm Cloud, Blue Ice and Hubrichtii already. I think I need to add String Theory this fall, may be plant a drift of them with bulbs in between.
How do these varieties stand up to a late (aka heavy, wet) spring snow? I assume they’d survive but of these varieties would one pop back and suffer less bending/breaking than the others?
We haven't noticed any bending/breaking from a late snow on these plants. If this is a concern for you, we would recommend Starstruck or String Theory as they are a little later to emerge in spring!
You had me at the FALL COLOR on the first and last. 😍😍 I need to do more research on these.
Yes I agree! How fun I need to try this!

That sounds really nice!
Do you have liatris?
Wish you had included the zones for all of these!
An oversight on our part! We list them all at zones 4-9, Blue Ice at 3-9
Does Blue Ice also sport golden foliage in the fall?
Thank you for the video 😊
No it doesn't. It stays green!
In the last scene there were some black leaved colocasias in the back ground. What are they called please?

Do these take shade
Do rabbits and deer eat amsonia?
They are deer resistant!
I would kinda rather just have liatris to be honest. Same effect but better flowers. Strangely it’s also referred to as blazing star.
Do deer eat this?
