I was hardcore ST for awhile back around 2012. 100% I believe in the swing for Wedges down to 6 iron or so. Cleaner ball striking and nothing comes remotely close to its consistency for 9 irons and wedges. Where i got lost was lower lofted clubs especially Driver. Just couldn't figure it out. I'm going back thru all your vids now so hoping to find some key thoughts
So um, this is my biggest fear as I consider this switch. Were you able to solve the Driver riddle? I have practiced once wiht S & T... literally 50 or 60 swings and my 8 and 50 were outstanding... tried my 5 Wood and ended up on the struggle bus a bit.
@@bcwgobuffs1 i never really did Brad. That doesn't mean ST can't work with Driver, i just couldn't really figure it out. For higher lofted irons i still feel like its a great swing thought-- stay on your front side really helps promote a downward strike with irons. One swing thought that really helped me the last year was keeping my upper arms really locked into my body. Believe this was a big Hogan tip. It helped me immensely. Some teachers have you put a sock or headcover under your armpits while swinging to ingrain it. Good luck
Nick great video as always brother. Man I am struggling with my hybrids and my fairway woods. I have got all other clubs down packet with the stack and tilt. I just can't seem to hit these at all. Lol . Hopefully you can manage to make a video on this some day. As always man thank you so much for the great detailed videos.
@@NickTaylorGolf actually I do want one . I promise I will just in middle on renovating and stay with family. So only time I get is one day at course a week but no practice time.I will get a class. Time is about to change here in the states and getting darker so more time to hook up with you then lol
Great video with showing a students progress over time. Keep amateur student videos coming.
Thanks for watching Steve
Startling progress, Nick!
Thanks Martin
I like what you said about applying a stroke to the course, thats what I've liked about sat is the ability to hit better from real world conditions
