    Definitely wouldn’t be a corn warriors episode without being confused on what is going on. Was this at the beginning of the year? Why do you guys do this to us?

      We promise we aren’t trying to confuse our viewers; you are the reason we are here. We start the season off with planting, and we did air 6 weeks later than last year because of the weather. Thank you for watching. Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Are any of the Corn warriors independently growing their own seed? Like hybrid seed corn or soybeans? Just curious, we've seen incredible results in SE Neb, teaming up with some really good independent seed companies and legally growing our own seed... Utilizing top shelf germ plasm and modern genetics stacked with traits from Smartstax to Xtend and Enlist. Conventional seed also. With the wet, cool and late planting season it was a relief to I know i could count on my seed quality and independent saturated cold germ test results, before a seed went into the ground! Curious about your thoughts... Thanks guys

      We are always interested in new things. I don't believe any of our Warriors grow their own seed. I'm sure we could get some of them to try it out though.

    i want to see how many of these guys are really makeing money off these big yields at the prices we have these days or do they have a place they not showing to hide their crop till they get a price for it they dont loose on these input costs

    • @CornWarriors
      @CornWarriors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The top guys wont do it if it's not making money. You are missing the point. The contest is a way to find out what works in order to know what to use for the rest of the farm. What if I told you that one of the Warriors averages close to 400 bushel per acre corn on all his acres? Would you think that was profitable?

    • @cb7815
      @cb7815 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CornWarriors in a previous episode, they admitted they were not making profits on all but 140 bushels of the 450+ bushel per acre corn, due to the inputs. That's amazing costs.

    • @WernerAg
      @WernerAg 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CornWarriors what do you consider close? You need to understand that these high yields tighten yout ROI more and more and can very easily go in the red.
