Really enjoy this show. I’m trying to catch up to past episodes now. I am going to assume all of these farmers are farming 1,000 plus acres?
J man most of them farm right around that mark none of them farm tens of thousands of acres, they focus on ROI. instead of farming 3000a and profiting $50/a they want to farm 1,500a and profit $100/a or more
Tim Westendorf I am an active duty Army guy with about 4 years left until retirement. I am from central North Carolina and grew up around Tobacco farms and cotton fields growing up. My dream after retiring is to one day farm. However I don’t think this is an obtainable goal at all based on almost no farm experience and with only owning 4 acres of land. Maybe I can have my own corn wars in a half acre garden and buy myself a used John Deere 4020 and pretend to farm. 🤣. Anyways enjoy the show and wish all the farmers on the show all the best. Doesn’t matter who wins at the end of the day if the bills are paid and you can put a few coins in your Pocket than you are considered blessed. I look forward to watching more shows and episodes for sure!
