Yeah getting this thing up was a pain. But like Touhou the 'stages' are so short it seemed pointless to split the video up stage by stage...and yeah with a video this long I honestly had to start uploading it Saturday night and it wasn't done processing till Sunday afternoon let alone the annotations to put in. But yeah I plan on doing all the Touhou games...and maybe if I manage to catch up I'm thinking on doing the Touhou doujin games as well like MegaMari or Touhouvania
Combining fighting games with shmup elements/bullet hell shit is like bread and butter or icing on cake (not in a way to sum things up, I couldn’t think of any phrases having to do with candy and sweets), a dream come true. I love this game.
Beautiful 2D graphics (that’s to be expected of modern 2D fighting games), amazing soundtrack (a vast majority of J-Fighters often have amazing music) and excellent gameplay (because fighting games are pretty much perfect in the modern age in terms of gameplay, there seems to be absolutely nothing wrong here, just perfect because modern 2D fighters have perfected it. You have Street Fighter II to thank for all this, if it weren’t for SFII, we wouldn’t have all those amazing fighting games we all know and love today).

It's a little tricky in the heat of battle, but after you get up a sufficient amount of cards in the bottom corner of your characters side press "Down Down D". That puts you in the mode to use spells. It depends on the character from here but most of the time you then use spells by pressing "Down Down-forward Forward D"
why did it take me so long to recognize that both 7.5 and 13.5 are in cases, where the Extra/phantasm boss of the previous chronologic game is the fight prior to the final boss?

I think so. If push comes to shove I know there's a program called Joy2Key or something like that, that you can use to transfer keyboard presses to controller buttons.
There's three ground based fighters like you see here called Touhou 7.5 Immaterial and Missing Power, Touhou 10.5 Scarlet Whether Rhapsody, and Touhou 12.3 Hisoutensoku. Then there's two more fighters that take place fully in the air called Touhou 13.5 Hopeless Masquerade and Touhou 14.5 Urban Legend in Limbo with a third one in the works called Touhou 15.5 Antinomy of Common Flowers that we'll know more about in a couple months. Sorry to say but that dash move that Youmu does is a story mode only attack. If you're playing as Youmu none of her spell cards do that.
