It's not that surprising really. They were already big fans of Dragon Ball, Naruto and Boku no Hero Academia. Their personalities are suited to Shounen long-runners, so give them one and they're pretty easy to please.
@@Nik-md4to I wasn't trying to imply that HxH was unremarkable. It certainly has a lot of elements that make it stand out as a fairly exceptional series. However, it still adheres to a lot of shounen characteristics, so it's easy to immediately enjoy for people who were already into that, especially early on.
yeah I agree it's better than mob psycho simply because it has way more episodes and more arcs. if mob psycho was able to churn out a 100 quality episodes then it would be up there too

I'm so glad these guys are enjoying the Hunter Exam arc, people say this is a weak part of the series but I think it perfectly sets the tone and setting.
Hunter x Hunter is one of the top tier animes so that's probably why people recommended it and figured ya'll would like it and yes Killua is a savage ya'll will see it even more as ya'll get into more episodes great reaction guys
This show gets so complex and I can't wait for Ya'll to react to it and dissect it. It takes the idea of what Chakara is in Naruto to a more distinctive route.

yeah i love hunter x hunter most series you'll get stuff like corniness and other things you have to overlook but for hunter x hunter its pretty wholesome while having murder and the anime pretty much makes sense of everything compared to most other animes
