It's not that surprising really. They were already big fans of Dragon Ball, Naruto and Boku no Hero Academia. Their personalities are suited to Shounen long-runners, so give them one and they're pretty easy to please.

@@Nik-md4to I wasn't trying to imply that HxH was unremarkable. It certainly has a lot of elements that make it stand out as a fairly exceptional series. However, it still adheres to a lot of shounen characteristics, so it's easy to immediately enjoy for people who were already into that, especially early on.

It was censored in the anime. But in the manga this is what Killua did to those two guys: he cut one’s head off and split in two (horizontally) the other one’s head with one movement of his hand.

Hisoka is a mysterious man whose name means secret. Each nipe card and its clothing in each bow symbolize the type of emotion it conveys. For example: (hearts) symbolizes joy, love, happiness. Letter of conquest (sticks). Risk letter (gold) and excitement. Letter of (sword) problem and danger. He has many other mysteries yet to be revealed.

@@nothingspecial8114 No, saying "Heaven's arena arc" is spoiling. When they see it they wont know what it means, but they'll have ingested the treat before unwrapping what leads up to it. The effect in this scenario is pretty minuscule, but all the same, there is an effect. To the likes of:
1) They'd think "Ahh the Heaven's arena, Seen it a bunch in the comments, hope it's as good as they said it is," when it's brought up...
2) But then if they don't know about it. It'd be exciting in a different way than expecting the part to live up to its hype. More so like, "ooooh, there's a Heaven's arena? Yada yada yada Can't wait to check it out."
And technically, yes. Telling people there's a power system is spoiling. But not the bad kind. That's like telling someone that Dragon ball z is amazing and to watch out for how much they can raise their power or something like that. That's more of a teaser than a spoiler.

Hunter x Hunter is one of the top tier animes so that's probably why people recommended it and figured ya'll would like it and yes Killua is a savage ya'll will see it even more as ya'll get into more episodes great reaction guys
This show gets so complex and I can't wait for Ya'll to react to it and dissect it. It takes the idea of what Chakara is in Naruto to a more distinctive route.

yeah i love hunter x hunter most series you'll get stuff like corniness and other things you have to overlook but for hunter x hunter its pretty wholesome while having murder and the anime pretty much makes sense of everything compared to most other animes
