I appreciate your comment, that's nice to hear. The new roads weren't my favourite at first, but as they were first released I saw Bevin's Bricks take some and add them into this style of MILS road plates. After I saw how cool they looked I made the switch from the 32x32 road plates (which i had a lot of lol).
@@BrickinBrood yea I can definitely see that there’s situations where the modular aspect of new ones, would enable me to do things I can’t do with old ones, I think eventually we’ll probably try some for a specific reason, n have hybrid for little, and I’ll eventually probably end up loving them too, it’s gonna be big $$ for me tho if I ever do fully switch, cause I would have to mils everything too, right now “because” of old road plates, we do like a “hybrid” mils we made up, where we build our modulars on plates from jump, not baseplates, and we use strictly briks “plate” road plates, like not “base” road plates, that way our “mils” is just 1 extra layer of “plates”, which we use little 4x4’s spread even under each building, so like our curb is 2 plates hi off street, n street is even with mills plates under, we’re far from rich, n started out as cost alternative, but then really worked good n we stuck with it, so switching completely would mean changing whole earth lol, but if our channel grown n starts to bring some income in, who knows what future holds lol
WOW im a Lego builder myself and i have seen some cool builds but this one… Is some of the best! I love the way evrything is fitted together and makes it just a city that has a personality! Not too big not too small.
That's wicked, never thought of that. I have thought about trying to strap a camera to one of the cars and take it around the city, the F1 car would be sick.
I tried using a method that involves creating a setup similar to the el dorado fortress ramp. The math is a bit tricky but I think it works well enough.
The different heights looks really good. It's more interesting than just a level landscape.
I appreciate your comment, and agree!! Thanks so much!!
As an “old road” advocate, I gotta admit this is first vid that has truly made me consider switching our city out lol

Thanks so much, i appreciate your comment. Thats what i was going for with the city, i'm glad that you noticed!! take care!!
As an old road advocate I gotta admit MILS is better for roads with inclines
I agree
You need more custom buildings. You seem to have a wonderful skill for custom creations.
I appreciate that!!! I definitely should get more of my own creations in there. Thanks
That end credits scene. I was immediately like, nooooo. 😆
Ya it sucked, but in the end wasn't too big of a fix. Had to share it though!
Cool ideas for the ramps - I would have went with the mallet as well
Lol you know, I may switch it back!
This reminds me of the Forza Horizon 4 Lego map!!!!!

This city is so cool 🙌🙌

I was wondering where that mallet went!! 😂

MILS are too pricy and labor intensive. It’s a trend that needs to go away.
I think its a great way to make a road. I'm open to anything that looks good though. There are some pretty creative people out there.
