He played in Dortmunds youth department (U17 and U19) and went to Stuttgart from there to become pro. So he never played for the first team because he saw better chances in Stuttgart back then

As a Madridista, I am confident of rolling over Dortmund but, at the same time, there is this nervous feeling of a final being that one-off game where any result is possible (recent example is the FA Cup final). Regardless, we have to do it for Kroos, and to match our UCL trophy tally with Fede's shirt number! 😅

Oh i think people know how dominant Madrid is in these competitions. Someone from reddit said it best, the team is built to wipe to floor with the strong teams and the strong teams are in the champions league. They rely on superstars and every time they play they always field the best players in their positions. And notice how they always played the single best player in the world mostly best attacker but still. Before it was Ronaldo, then it was Karim Benzema, now Vini and Jude who are the best players in the world and they’re rocking the Madrid kit. It may not be as deep as other teams but it’s still a deep team considering they won the league.
It’s shocking though to be honest, started the year without the first choice keeper, without Militao, Vini was injured early, and Rodrygo was struggling adjusting to a more cenrtal role. But Jude the dude carried the team back then and now Vini is proving to everyone that he’s the best player in the world. Hope they win
