Hi sir. I have a question regarding the umbrella hole. If there's no locking screw to keep the umbrella in place, won't it fall off if you tilt the bracket down forward?

Good question and observation! But no, it's a pressure/friction metal tab that's shaped to grip in a way where the umbrella won't slip out when tilted.

with genuine godox s1 bracket, the top portion of the plate is made of metal with a rubber padding.

Also the S2 is bettervif you have a silicone cover on your AD200

Yes generally they're for portraits but also for product shots and anything where you need a well lit scene.
