The bottom structure is weird and when we gave them time to fight they would get down in the cracks and snags and we would loose them. After trial and error we found getting them in asap resulted in more fish
@@WutUpBrahh it is not. I use an okuma gsc 10’6 15-30 for springers with the same reels as all my other plunking stuff. Springers are smaller and triple spin n glo is pretty light weight. I use the 20-40 for sturgeon and the big summer chinook or fishing heavy leads
Also put lighter line on your weight so if it snags the weight goes but the fish doesnt
That spot is hang up city!! Fished that spot for thirty years. Lots of fish but you have to horse them in one you get close to shore.
So true, lost our gear almost every reel in🤦
Cool stuff, dude! Looks like a lot of fun. Too bad you didn't get any giants!!
Thanks! Yah we hooked up on a bigger fish but of course is broke off
@@AnglersDreamPNW yeah...all the straining and fighting looked like it.
Try reeling in slower and letting them fight more. Yall are reeling in way too fast that’s why your line keeps breaking. Just a lil tip
