But the h2 is just something else in my opinion, a supercharged 1000cc that's relatively easier to maneuver. The top speed of both bikes might be the same but the acceleration and the performance as a whole must be really different. Again, no hate to the Hayabusa, I love that bike as well.
This is why in my opinion Kawasaki has been at the top of the bike game for pretty much since it started gaining real traction. They never failed to deliver and all their bikes were the pinnacle of engineering and craziness.

I can't speak for other places but that has been my experience here in Latin America, Kawasaki was always HUGELY popular. I grew up around mostly hearing Kawasakis in the road I live by almost every day. Yamahas and Hondas on the other hand are mostly used by business offering fast home delivery services, which make them TONS of money, and by tons of money, I mean, A LOT, A LOT of money. Love hearing a powerful machine slowly decelerate, like a monster cooling down. Been in a murcielago and did a pretty serious pull, as the driver slowed it down I got the same vibe. What a beast.

All 1000cc‘s do 120-170kmh in first gear. My gsxr 1000 from 2007 with 197HP do 164kmh in first gear. The 200-300 kmh is more impressive to me in this video

@@the_quantum_jumper Have you ever thought about upgrading the SC rotor? with a bigger rotor, it would allow you to work the SC with less pressure (psi) more efficiently, because the air box would work cooler, and more power, with stock sc gears and bigger wheel, you can easily do 270-280 whp with boost stock.

Last year on my last ride before putting my bike away for the season, I got up to about 180 on a highway pull before slowing back down. Not 10 seconds further down the highway there's a cop with a bike pulled over. Very narrowly avoided an awkward phone call with the insurance company 😅

Having one gear more does not mean it acc. more. Lower gears are for acc., higher gears are for lowering revs.

Kawasaki hit the bull's eye with the H2(R). Years later, no one can touch it. Not just super-fast, but smooth and refined and elegant as well.
