- Pencil trick to memorize enzyme inhibition graphs
This video is about the memorizing enzyme inhibition graphs using pencil or pen. There are three types of enzyme inhibition: Competitive inhibition, Uncompetitive inhibition and Non competitive inhibition. Competitive inhibition is a phenomenon in which the substrate and the inhibitor compete for the active site of the enzyme. Un-competitive inhibition is a phenomenon in which the inhibitor binds ES complex. And Non-competitive inhibition is a phenomenon in which the inhibitor can either bind the active site or it can bind the ES complex directly.
Non-Competitive inhibition is always allosteric because the inhibitor does not compete for the active site. Non-competitive and mixed inhibition are different! This information is not correct!!!
ive been struggling with this for weeks and this helped me tons. thank you!
Fantastically simple and helpful video! Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing. This is the only thing that helps me remember this concept.
Beautifully done...never knew it would be that simple
Genius!!!! Great idea 💡 thanks a lot
good analogy and quick video means you understoood it well enough to be concise thanks
That is really good. I forgotten alot of enzyme kinetics. The pencil graphic is good because envision moving it, and it helps it stick, again.
Good
This is freaking brilliant. Thank you
Suuuperb video Sir👍👍 thanks a lot
Wow! This was so helpful. Thank you!
wow this is the best teacher ever . I love it 😍😍😍
Best explanation 🙏
Awesome trick 👌👌👌
Amazing trick...🔥
Bohot bohot dhanyawad aapka iss aasan tarike se hame ye concept samjhane ke liye.
great video!
Nice trick!
This video is great!
Cool, thanks!
this was sooooo good!!!!
Good work👍
best video ever. Thanks
Thank you so much sir....
Genius......
Great!!
Thank you sooooo much 💜💜
Simple so clear
Also do make a video on fate of ammonia
Thank you Bhaiya❤
what is the reason why the different competitors have the different effects ?
U made it easy
Awesome
Amazing thanx
oosum ❤️👍
Very nice trick.. 😁😅
thanks 😊
Wow!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️
Thanku
thanks
Super sir
Good

There many ways to convey a concept, one of many I mathematically which you choose the graphical illustration, what would be Interesting is a person gifted to graphically and perhaps Mathematically for THOSE who contemplate Mathematically, it would be exciting and interesting to create graphically the Human biochemistry from intake to excretion...ty
In uncompetitive inhibition, you have illustrated that the Km decreases in its x-axis. Does it mean it has a low affinity?
Km is inversely proportional to affinity of sub n enzymes
So km decreases.. affinity increases
@@kamalpreetkaur9011 thank you🙇
You r a good teacher, but I don't know why you try to change ur accent............ By the way thank you so much for that

But it isnt usually a straight line. The ones I see are a curve
That is because it's a Michaelis menton graph and in this video he showed lineweaver burk plot.
That;s the Michaelis Menton graph that mostly shows a sigmoidal curve, which is the cooperativity of enzymes as well as the Vmax/Km relationship! Lineweaver Burk Plots have straight slopes
I thought it's James Charles in start
