I really appreciate how often you called him cringy throughout the video. A lot of people kill for the fame, fear and infamy of being a killer. Society treats them as if their dark, evil masterminds. the lifestyle of a killer is glorified. I think if we begin to recognize killers as the cringy, pseudo-edgy morons they are, it would shatter the mystique that causes some people to want to become a murderer.
Agreed. I like to point out the things I think are lame about them so people can just stop idolizing random people and projecting some kind of hero onto them. It's not that mysterious. It's not that deep. I mean, shallow affect is literally one of this dudes trademarks, so he us actually and factually not that deep. From a scientific standpoint. But does confront us with terror for our own mortality. Maybe people would rather idolize a killer than realize that they are mortal and its so easy to loose ones life. 🤔 I dunno. It's a theory. Anyway. Stop idolizing random people. It's not healthy and probably mostly protection.
YES! There's so many cases where killers claim to be "Satanists" and then drawing pentagrams and hailing Satan, when they clearly don't even know what Satanism is! It makes them look soo pathetic trying to seem scary and crazy, when Satanism(TCOS) firstly doesn't even believe in an entity called "Satan", beliefs are basically "don't be an asshole and respect yourself and others" and has absolutely nothing to do with any violence, murder or sacrifice.
This reminds me of a boy in my class at school that tragically died from a stabbing in London recently. His name was Donovan Allen and although I didn’t know him very well he was so kind and funny and always made people laugh. When you hear of these awful murders you never think that it’s going to be someone you knew. My heart goes out to all the families that have lost a loved one. RIP

I left school in the 80's, so not talking about schoolmates of my own, but in the last year or so we've had several schoolkids murdered in pretty close proximity to where I live. Mostly by other teenagers too, either by gun or knife crime. So very sad and unnecessary, no doubt everyone in your class has felt the ripple effect of your classmates murder. Very sad.
Is he the boy who’s girlfriend stabbed him? I saw something about that and a video about a young teen girl who stabbed her boyfriend or friend or something and he died
RIP Anuj. I'm really glad justice was served quickly. Props to the people of Manchester, the police, and the village in Pune for supporting the family ❤️

Losing your driver's license, breaking up with your gf, and getting kicked out of your mum's house is *not* a good enough reason to shoot an innocent, promising, young man in the head. We've all been stressed out, we've all gone through hard times, we don't all shoot people. This man was just a despicable human being looking for an excuse to kill.

I feel like killers have different tiers of how horrible they are. Some are just disgusting. Some are just cringey. Others are just pure monsters. Others have unfortunately fallen into the dark and have gone psychologically damaged (such as Andrea Yates and people with mental illness).
You should cover the ‘bedsit murders’ case. It was cold for over 30 years and the killer only recently got caught in November of 2021, not only did he murder 2 young women, but he worked in my local hospital and would have sex with the dead bodies in the morgue. My mother went to school with one of the victims, so would be really interesting to hear you cover this case
So sad that Anuj was such a great guy with such potential and didn't do anything other than take a walk with his friends and ended up being killed by this creep. I hope he never gets out of prison.
i just wanted to say i admire how you always speak so highly of the victims and humanize them. Anuj seemed like such a sweet and gentle soul, may he rest in peace.
I honestly cried hearing how much love and support his family was shown and how ppl celebrated his life even in such a tragedy, you can tell he was an amazing person who touched many ppl. I hope he rests in peace ❤️
Case suggestion: girl in my town (Warren, Massachusetts) named Molly Bish a 16 year old lifeguard who disappeared at her post. Her body was found years later, but her killer has still not been found, though there are several theories.
I was in her art class and my younger sister gave evidence to the police. The whole thing was very intense and awful. The family is well known and beloved in the town.
I was surprised to hear this was a shooting considering the UK’s strict gun laws. I wonder if possession of a firearm was added to his sentence? RIP to Anuj, he sounded like a lovely person
oh no definitely not, I've got bare family in Manchester Salford ordsall and family who are in these Manchester gangs with guns and it's very common in Salford xx
Shooting do happen in the UK 🇬🇧 BUT they are not at all common compared to the USA. 99% of people in the UK don't carry/hold guns... obviously we do have gangs and wanna be's and they do get them illegally. Shootings do happen BUT thankfully not often. Knife crime is BIG in the UK.
The man who broke into my apartment and forced me to drive him somewhere after robbing me, had a tear drop tattoo under his eye. Once I learned of its symbolism, I couldn't help but wonder if he had actually killed someone, or if it represented a fallen gang member as that was another theory I heard given for its meaning. I mostly hear it's for murder, though *SHUDDER*
Omg I'm so glad you wasn't hurt! I believe if it's a teardrop tattoo under the right eye means the person lost a loved one then one on the left means the person murdered someone. Each teardrop represents another murder they committed or have lost. That's what I've always heard anyway lol
I didn't even know of this custom. I thought it was related to the 80s parody of the 50s movie "Crybaby" (very young Johnny Depp). Now I'm trying to remember which side was his teardrop tattoo.
Damn girl glad ur ok! Wtf that’s crazy! I almost got kidnapped once when I was 15 but thank God someone pulled into the parking lot and scared them all off! I can’t imagine actually BEING in the car w them or someone being in my house. Crazy 🙏🏻💙
Case suggestion: unsure if you've covered this in the past, though there's a South African serial killer case that took place between 1988 and 1989. The perpetrators are believed to be Gert van Rooyen and his girlfriend Joey Haarhoff, who caused the abduction, sexual abuse, and murder of six girls between the ages of 9 and 16. They were never prosecuted however as Gert killed Joey and then himself before they were caught. None of the girls' bodies were ever found. This is largely talked about in homecountry of South Africa but never heard it get covered by any True Crime channels. The 'van' in the majority of South African and Dutch names are spelt with a lowercase 'v' btw, in case you're interested in covering it and need to spell the name correctly!
@Trite so kind of you to make note of correct spelling of the name. I’m kinda a self proclaimed spelling and grammar nerd and completely appreciate your comment and suggestion! I do hope Eleanor does that story! ❤️
I'm South African too and remember this case clear as day because I was around the age of the girls that were being kidnapped. Everyone was terrified. I was actually thinking about this case just the other day. I think the problem with covering this case is that there are no answers to anything. Not a soul knows where the girls were taken to. What was done to them. Are they alive? Their remains were never found. Gert and Joey never spoke to police because of the murder suicide. There is just nothing much to talk about other than the fact that the girls were taken. It is absolutely soooooo frustrating. This case often pops up in my head. Those girls 😓 💔. The parents of those girls 😭. The parents never got any answers. They to this day don't know if their abducted children are alive or dead? The pain and anguish 😩. My Mom also worked with one of the ladies who's daughter had gone missing. Absolutely devastating 😥
It’s so tragic that the parents couldn’t give their son a proper send off. I’m not religious but I respect people who believe in something larger than us. It take serious courage to understand it’s an investigation and not fight for a cremation within those 24 hours. My heart goes out to the family and I hope he’s in a better place ❤️
I don’t usually cry for these videos since I’m so used to them but this one really made me extra sad for some reason. poor guy. he had his whole future ahead of him and seemed like such a good soul. i hope he’s resting peacefully wherever he is
Thank God they got him quickly. I could see him definitely doing it again if he been locked up so quick. R.i.P. Anuj&my deepest condolences to his family and friends🕊

BUTTTTT I have an ED so I got EXTREMELY concerned about her cuz one minute it’s Eleanor and then the next she’s lost a lot of weight so I’ve been panicking and concerned but didn’t wanna say nun in case. I need to say something, I went deep into a rabbit hole of true crime TH-camrs, and after a week of it I came to the conclusion that Eleanor is by far my favorite
Most people I’ve spoke to love Bailey but I can’t stand her, Eleanor is my top go to true crime youtuber, I can’t stick to watching anyone else apart from Rob dyke with his seriously strange series.
This case made me cry. I can normally get through them, but not this one. I had never heard of it before. RIP Anuj. I hope his friends are ok. I’m sure they were traumatized.
I think we all should try to be more natural, I don't like how the whole beauty community got younger people to put so much make up and fake eyelashes on, that the real beauty is hidden behind a mask. Doing a dramatic look is fine from time to time, but don't forget the real beauty
Sorry to hear that .. I was alone too, as were millions of others, so don’t feel bad. You look very pretty so I doubt you have any problems finding suitors 😆 I miss the high of being in love, but I don’t miss the feeling of getting hurt, so sometimes being single isn’t so bad, and I assure you there are many people out there who are currently in a relationship, who actually envy us single people lol the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. But I feel you.. it would be really nice to find true love. Oh well, true crime will do for now 😂 hope all is well
The fact that she warns us about graphic content before the story or tells us to click off the video if we can’t handle it it’s just the sweetest thing ❤️ Also I bet all the sweet innocent murdered people Eleanor covers are looking down at her and saying thank you for talking about they’re story and what they went through. ❤️

The police TRULY worked quick and they did sum it up to the right one. I'm glad justice was served!! It's nice to see these type of cases where police work until justice is served. I feel horrible for Anuj, his last moments.. and for his family. It's just stupid how these idiots kill and feel tough.. when in reality they look cowardly and pathetic.
I get so happy as soon as I see a notification that you’ve uploaded a video 🤗 I also have to say you look amazing and I am sooo jealous of your eyebrows!!! I spend 15-20 each day to try and replicate what you have (I was a teenager in the 90’s….my brows suffered 😕) thank you for just being you and for all of the hard work you put into your videos. Even though the content can sometimes be confronting and upsetting I still really appreciate the chance to learn something and seeing you pop up on my phone can make my day!😁
Anuj’s vigil and funeral almost made me cry. The amount of support and comfort offered by the public was amazing and really restored my fate in humanity. Rest In Peace, Anuj. We love you
Kiaran Stapleton was sending love letters to Sean Mercer’s (murderer of Rhys Jones/Little Boy Blue) girlfriend whilst they were in the same prison in 2020. The fact they both gunned down an innocent young man/boy and both become competitive over a woman… gives me chills
It's genuinely so sad that murderers are so glorified. To see Anuj's family, especially his parents grieve is so heartbreaking, and for the murderer to be obviously proud of what he's done is insane to me. Rest in Peace Anuj, and every other life that was taken by a murderer.
case suggestion: it happened in my town and my stepdad was one her neighbours at the time. Its the case of Lesley Molseed. It happened in rochdale. She was a little girl with learning difficulties and she went missing after her mum asked to nip to the shop. One man who was also suffering learning difficulties was wrongfully accused of some things and he was arrested for a long time. Its really interesting and it would be pretty close for you too because its right next to west yorkshire. :)

Case suggestion: Guy Beckett - Laura Torn, this happened local to where I live in 2004. He was a pub owner who killed his girlfriend, he tried to cover up the murder and he hid her body in hay bails in another village, nothing of this scale had ever happened (to my knowledge) in our area and hasn’t since.
I've absolutely adored watching this channel! I have a case suggestion, I remember it happening, the 2010 northumbria case of Raoul Moat? It was a massive man hunt and I think it would be so interesting to hear your take on it.
If this ever happened to my own child, and the murderer starts laughing, or smirking while details of the murder are described in court, I'M going to end up in jail. What a disgusting POS.
It feels so weird to hear my boyfriend's name. especially the part where they aimed and shot Anuj. I know its not him but dang it hurts to hear and even imagine it. I was amazed when his friends didn't run away in fear. I hope Anuj's family and friends are okay. That must've been a terrifying experience.
I grew up in Salford and would've been 11 at the time of this murder. I remeber the hearing the "psycho stapleton" thing over the radio. Never really knew the details of the case but they definitely don't surprise me. Anuj was taken too soon, stapleton shouldn't ever be released from prison. If there's any justice in the world, he won't be.
Yesssss girl!! Thank you I need this! After 1.5years of depression just started uni again this past week and it was too much for my body and I got sick... So thank youuuu
It's so amazing how the community and police treated this case. I'm glad the community and investigators did such a good job of trying to find the killer and supporting the family. I really wish the police tried to contact the family more at first though.
5 mins in and Eleanor is saying “was” when talking about Anuj…I’m so sad bc he seems so wonderful and I know he’s going to be the victim of some terrible crime. I feel horrible already
Every case is heart breaking in its own way. But I have to admit that the moment she said the age and the field of study my heart sank. Its too relatable. I am 23 and am in the sciences doing a graduate degree. When I sat back and thought like, "Wow, what if that was me?" It was just stomach wretching. I feel like I havent yet lived at 23 years, yet this amazing young brilliant man had everything stripped from him by a cold, heartless, evil man. It's heartbreaking to see this happen so callously and unprovoked on top of it.
The technique of the assailants is very common. Spot someone from across the road, go back initiate a fight. Yep, this is triggering personally. My boyfriend and his mate picked me up from work at the restaurant where i worked. We had a beer and a game of pool and began walking towards my boyfriends car at the end of the block, about 500m. Some guys were walking across the road from us and were yelling stupid things at us, mostly regarding myself and what they could do to me. We kept walking, only about 20m to our car. One man suddenly was in front of us, dancing around and blocking our path. Our Mate said "we dont want any trouble" and that we just wanted to go home. The man grabbed me and slammed me against the wall. I passed out. When i woke I saw my boyfriend trying to crawl away from attackers and our friend being beaten on the traffic island up ahead. I was bruised facially and hurt very deeply inside. Our friend was still on the traffic island and his beating was still ongoing. I ran to the nightclub 50m up the road to ask the security for help and they said they couldnt assist, legally. I asked them to call the police and ran to the island to help our friend. I received several more punches but managed to pull them off. Our friend was bleeding and had several obviously broken bones. When the sirens came, the thugs left. Their leader did however, leave his jacket behind as i was holding onto him in the hopes that the police would be able to keep him and press charges. He slipped away and i was left with his coat. Following up with the police i was told that i could be charged with aggravated robbery for keeping his jacket (and the ID it held). Our friend and my boyfriend were hospitalised and i was kitted. What i knew was confirmed and they had dna evidence of all our assults. So, helpless to stay safe. The police then told us that they knew the man, his habits and that they wouldnt prosecute. The man had a history of abuse and violence but was always let off any charges. Poor suffering boy syndrome. Judges just let him get away with anything.

@@navreetkaursidhu5042 yes, it was an opportunity thing -i didn't say it wasn't, but the fact that they seemed like they were not from the area, they were dressed differently, used their phone for direction, they were walking in a large group and they were all dark skinned - they stood out, making then easier to spot and target especially for a killer out on the prowl.

They never target lonely and miserable... you have international students who drink a lot and have psychological issues (low self-esteem, depression, borderline pd etc... ) and they come across thugs and never get targeted. But those who have a "bright future" are always the ones who are targeted.
Those people are not cool, they're pathetic, sad, ridiculous and unworthy of life. Karma will fight back one day
I feel like killers have different tiers of how horrible they are. Some are just disgusting. Some are just cringey. Others are just pure monsters. Others have unfortunately fallen into the dark and have gone psychologically damaged (such as Andrea Yates and people with mental illness).
everyone hates a killer till they become one
You should cover the ‘bedsit murders’ case. It was cold for over 30 years and the killer only recently got caught in November of 2021, not only did he murder 2 young women, but he worked in my local hospital and would have sex with the dead bodies in the morgue. My mother went to school with one of the victims, so would be really interesting to hear you cover this case
commenting to boost this !!
yes!! this case needs to be heard
Yess
I want to know more
wtf
This is heart breaking. Wrong place wrong time. He didn’t deserve to have his life cut so short
So sad that Anuj was such a great guy with such potential and didn't do anything other than take a walk with his friends and ended up being killed by this creep. I hope he never gets out of prison.
I love the way you talk about the victims before they were killed. Really gets us to know more about them and focuses less on the killer.
eleanor is literally the only youtuber who i will ever sit through their ads. how does she make even an ad sound interesting???
i just wanted to say i admire how you always speak so highly of the victims and humanize them.
I've always been fascinated with Molly's case... I heard about it years ago on "Unsolved Mysteries".
I’ve heard of this case as well. It would be interesting
Never heard of this case but I would love her to cover it
Never heard of this case before, would love to see how Eleanor covers it
I was in her art class and my younger sister gave evidence to the police.
I've been waiting for an explanation of where/how he got the gun, but there was none.
@@A_Ducky it will have been illegal.

It's the placement of the tear drop that makes the symbolism of it to change as it represents both of what you said.
My friends dad has one for an abortion his wife had but it’s all usually related to a loss of life somehow
I'm a Saffa and have never heard of this case, will definitely look it up and ask my mom if she remembers!
I would be interested in watching the coverage of that. I don't know much about South African cases.
i feel like a fraud because i’m south african and i haven’t heard of this🥲 looking it up later today

I feel so horrible for Anuj's family I can't imagine going through what they did. I hope they are doing ok!💖
Thank God they got him quickly. I could see him definitely doing it again if he been locked up so quick.
R.i.P. Anuj&my deepest condolences to his family and friends🕊
I love how she’s started wearing less makeup/no makeup. She’s so beautiful I love seeing her embracing her natural beauty
I love how she went through this whole weight loss journey and didn’t make a big deal out of it. Good job mamas 😘
shes lost alot of weight but good for her and she looks amazing. i really hope what im saying doesnt come off as rude im not trying to be💖
Right! She also just looks like she’s maturing like she’s a proper grown up or something haha I love it!
No no no, I mean ABSOLUTELY YESSS AMAZING FOR HER. BUTTTTT I have an ED so I got EXTREMELY concerned about her cuz one minute it’s Eleanor and then the next she’s lost a lot of weight so I’ve been panicking and concerned but didn’t wanna say nun in case. I of course did think “she could be doing a weight loss journey, great for her I’m just confused.” So THANK YOU for clearing this up🥺🥲🤍
I haven't watched her videos in like 6 to 8 months. I thought the channel had a different host.
@@tanalopez9512 it’s not an eating disorder. She’s maturing and growing into herself and an adult. You can tell it’s more than just her losing weight. It was very gradual and not “overnight” like you’re making it seem. I’m glad you didn’t say anything cause comments like that could give her a complex that she didn’t have before. When it comes to weight it’s better if not saying anything at all unless you know them well enough to know for sure there’s an issue. I’m not trying to be mean so please don’t take it that way. I’ve have an eating disorder since I was 13 and I’m 37 now and it’s such a tricky subject ya know. I hope you’re in treatment for yours and are doing well. I just started treatment in December.
It’s scary to think I have watched all Elenor’s videos and she’s still making more HOW MANY KILLERS ARE ON THIS EARTH 😭😭
Scary isn't it
Also sad because many people loose there lives
Not to mention the ones that other True Crime TH-camrs have covered (and she hasn't as yet). Welcome to planet earth 🙏
Omg Eleanor, Kendall and Bella all uploaded in the same day. looks like i’m watching some good true crime today.
Christina too !
some “good true crime” girl if u don’t....
this is literally the first video of yours that i’ve cried at. this is heartbreaking. he had so much ahead of him. hearing the quotes from people and his parents absolutely shattered me. rest in peace, anuj. ❤️
Hearing how arrogant and blasé he was in court, I can't help but hope that prison is a really nasty place for him
He put a bucket of boiling water and sugar, over someones head, while on remand for this.
Apparently he did it for clout. Go figure.
@@MrBollocks10No the guy he attacked in prison was a bully
Couple lads got him with paul cues and then kieran got a mop bucket full of hot water and sugar and poured it over michael. The sugar makes it stick
Michael is also Paul Sykes son, another bully
I need to say something, I went deep into a rabbit hole of true crime TH-camrs, and after a week of it I came to the conclusion that Eleanor is by far my favorite
She That Chapter and JCS are my fave youtube true crimes. Good podcast is Crime Junkie Podcast.
Eleanor & Bailey always❤️
Most people I’ve spoke to love Bailey but I can’t stand her, Eleanor is my top go to true crime youtuber, I can’t stick to watching anyone else apart from Rob dyke with his seriously strange series.
This case made me cry. I can normally get through them, but not this one. I had never heard of it before. RIP Anuj. I hope his friends are ok. I’m sure they were traumatized.
Just as I was searching on TH-cam to find something to clean to... She posts this amazing video !!! I’m also loving the “woman”suit. ❤️❤️❤️
This was literally me!😂
Exactly though! It's to relatable!

Cleaning to it too! 😄
Woman suit? Sounds like an Ed Gein thing! Thought it was just a blazer, but...human skin? lol
I can hear this girl talk forever. She's so fun to listen to.
You've gotta love when they tattoo a confession on their faces
I just love how confident you feel to come on camera all natural 😍 there isn’t many out there who will do it and you do it so well 💯
I think we all should try to be more natural, I don't like how the whole beauty community got younger people to put so much make up and fake eyelashes on, that the real beauty is hidden behind a mask. Doing a dramatic look is fine from time to time, but don't forget the real beauty
Was a little sad today cause it’s my first Valentine’s alone in a while, so seeing a new video made me smile. Thanks Eleanor ❤️

Imagine what Anuj could have contributed to the world, and he seems like the guy to really be a positive impact to anyone who in some way entered his life. May he rest in peace 🥺
We love you
Honestly Manchester has a bad wrap, but many truly felt bad for the family and wanted to show support
Okay but why is nobody talking about how stunning Eleanor looks😩😩😩 She looks natural and mature and shes honestly beautiful. She does not need makeup and is a joy to watch❤️❤️❤️
Eleanor and thatchapter are by far the best on youtube for these unfortunate events the amount of research that must go in to it is unreal proper dedication rip anuj shocking you try to better your life then for it to be taken so easy by a coward great content respectful as always and elanor as beautiful as ever

just realised i been watching this channel consistently for 5 years and thats the longest commitment ive ever had in my life...
i’ve been really depressed lately eleanor just makes me feel so much better
Case suggestion: Guy Beckett - Laura Torn, this happened local to where I live in 2004. He was a pub owner who killed his girlfriend, he tried to cover up the murder and he hid her body in hay bails in another village, nothing of this scale had ever happened (to my knowledge) in our area and hasn’t since.
Was there a reason why he killed his gf
Literally every criminal “I love prison lock me up for 60 years. Unsuccessfully and repeatedly trying to appeal a year after being imprisoned

This happened right outside my apartment building. The whole community was sickened. Rest in paradise Anuj ❤ 2022 and you’re still in peoples hearts.
Judges just let him get away with anything.
i don’t cry while watching true crime cases. this was the first one in a while that got to me in a while. so heartbroken for him and his family. the candlelit vigil and memorial was so beautiful. i’m so heartbroken by this whole case. rest in peace anuj

I agree the murder might not have been racially motivated, but being different definitely made them an easier target...
I'm not so sure about that. The killer saw defenseless people and shot one. Seems like a opportunity thing to me.
