Ive nother seen another musician flow to his own music like i do. Why from day one, Ive cried and felt everything Mark writes. He feels the notes, he sees them, he remembers and portrays the emotion every single time he plays it. Its amazing to see. Such a talented band who is paving new roads in music.
I know it's only the first song of the album but I can say that this will be a top album contender for 2022 for sure. There is no competitive that comes close to this atmospheric but yet hard hitting sound. Please continue that way. Cheers

This is a right proper banger. You guys are consistent, always technical and melodic and ya'll could just fart on a snare drum for half an hour and I'd buy that album. Keep it up. Can't wait for more tracks. The Almanac was one of my favorite albums of 2017 and if this song is any indication, this one might be on my 2022 list!!!
Everything I've heard from this band so far is haunting, and I mean that in a very positive way. The themes dealt with here are so dark and so intense and personal, yet also fit within the context of a huge epic and emotional tale being told, and the beautiful and crushing mix of styles in the music really support that well. I have a younger brother, and I'm closer with him than basically anyone else, he's essentially also my best friend. I couldn't imagine hurting him, and if I somehow got to that point, I'd go insane or off myself out of guilt. I'm uncomfortable just imagining it. It's not just this song, thus far, every Kardashev song I've checked out seems to have a very meaningful and deeply reaching message and/or story. The instrumental and vocal styles and layers involved here are just awesome and really make this one of the most stand-out bands I've encountered in the Metal scene. They take some of my favorite things about the emotional and impassioned side of Metal and dial that grandness and heart-wrenching strife up to eleven. The only criticism I have here is that, while I see the style they're going for here, and I still very much enjoy the music despite it, I'd prefer to hear Mark louder and clearer in the mix, as his vocals are such a strong element of Kardashev. It takes away from the experience to a certain extent if he's washed out too often, or to an excessive degree. Definitely gonna be listening to more, you guys have so much talent and vision.

I completely agree . I'd give the song 9 out of ten simply because I wanted to hear that GLORIOUS guitar lead three or four more times .. Besides that ... Sheer BANGER ! HOPEFULLY Kardashev gives the fans what they want and extend it in the album edition , but I highly doubt it ... Either way it doesn't even matter .. Very good. First impression was that I'm not a fan of the amount of echo, but I guess I got used to it. The cleans work very well. The second half of the song is a notch or two stronger than the first half. Great lows and highs in there. Surely this increases your coaching credibility, not that I ever had any doubts.

I completely agree . I'd give the song 9 out of ten simply because I wanted to hear that GLORIOUS guitar lead three or four more times .. Besides that ... Sheer BANGER ! HOPEFULLY Kardashev gives the fans what they want and extend it in the album edition , but I highly doubt it ... Either way it doesn't even matter .. I'm sure there's more where this came from and the album will show that ! Good work Kardashev ! Looking forward to what's to come !

Very good. First impression was that I'm not a fan of the amount of echo, but I guess I got used to it. The cleans work very well. The second half of the song is a notch or two stronger than the first half. Great lows and highs in there. Surely this increases your coaching credibility, not that I ever had any doubts.
