I have been trying to install my new printer and YOUR INSTRUCTIONS saved my sanity! Thank you ever so much for doing a very clear, step-by-step with good pictures. WOW!!! I am thrilled.😊
@@helprehouseourvets6919 You have to press the *Tone button three times. First time is lower case. Second time is upper case. Third time is number. The screen will not show the number like it did with upper and lower case. It will only show the * but it is putting the number you selected in the password.
Sorry but this is incorrect. It will not allow you to enter a 1 PERIOD. The router came with a preset, unchangeable password, with letters, numbers, and symbols!!!.
ok i’m confused about the numbers, l press * button and the first thing in my password is 5. but l can’t tell if it’s a 5 after l press it, do l press * till l get 1 and then press the nbr. 5 on the keypad?
Will not add printer to chrome book or android phone. Canon app just searches forever the minute I open it. Is there any button on printer that will give me ip address for wifi?
@@one567 I just switched from a terrestrial cable style modem and wifi router to a 5G internet and wifi router because the hurricanes in FL destroyed the old system. I've been trying and not having success but figured I was entering my password incorrectly, it includes a series of lower case letters plus 2 dashes between word groups. I figured out how to add the number in the sequence but not the dashes. Any insight would be helpful, thanks.
@@bobrapoport4953 Sorry that you're having issues too, I actually sent this back and got a totally different printer, after I posted this I tried again the next day for another hour and it wouldn't connect no matter what I did. I bought a different one for a few dollars more. GL
BS! That *asterisk* button only let's me capitalize or use lower case letters. It *does not* let me use numbers which I need in order to add my wifi password!😡
everytime your press the asteries on the top right corner ..number or letter will appear..when you want to type your wifi password for example "numbers" press the asteries and choose the 1 then start typing your password and when you want to type the letter press the asteries again and change it to letters then continue typing your password..i just connected my printer and it works..i hope in tour case as well
These instructions about to enter the password are not good. My password has upper case and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. The video doesn't provide sufficient guidance to enter my password.
This is a really good printer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 . The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.

Thank you! I just replied this same sentiment! I need to add numbers for my password and this key pad won't let me!

You should have started at Language.
