use the sickle on a dandelion, you get lots of mucus. then plant your dandelion seeds. once theyre grown, use your sickle on them ! :)
@26:55 -- It's called a Jammer because they are being controlled -- see the collar on their necks.
Don't eat mushrooms!!!! Mushrooms are maybe the most important food in the game. It's one of the bottleneck ingredient for the large medkit. Make a fridge as soon as you can and save them in there, and when you go around always keep an eye on the ground for them.
My guy puts 75 iron in, crafts it and has 31 left "it doesnt take 44?"

@14:21 -- Leather is made in the basic workbench.
You can make food by the 100s if you want, it only spoils 1 per stack at a time. Every time you log in be sure to check your tasks menu, you can claim the challenges you have already completed for xp and shards.
Maybe that's how you get benches and stuff to produce things when you're not in them. Put a sla- - "follower" in them and they make what you ordered.
If you need mucus go to forested area, look for dandelion, collect it to get seeds, plant it in planters and use your sickle to harvest you'll get so many seeds you wont know what to do with them and dandelion gives the best amoutn of plant mucus
@15:57 -- Mobs levels appear to be tied to areas -- in the southern most desert area military POIs, they are 50-60.
And by south I mean west... 🍺
you have 75 iron ingots in the bench before you crafted the pickaxe leaving you 31...
Kage: Major Food Tip: I have noticed in my Singleplayer if you have a stack of Food, eat 1 (one) the timer will reset. So lets say you *cook* 30 Grilled Fish. Now 30 is on your hotbar #7; now Fish has 2minutes before it spoils; Eat one, 29 remains at 30minutes. So basically Cook the 30, 30minutes on each of the 30 = 900minutes = 15hours! :)

I honestly like the fact you have to go through and collect each levels blueprints. It helps you actually see what you get as opposed to just getting it and not realising.
interact with the NPC that you have downed. On the top right you can see three tabs. Click the middle one saying "favorite food". In here you can see the food the NPC needs in order to be tamed.
blueprint + the mats in the required work bench then click the blueprint and choose craft... i just made legendary chainsaw... very op
A tip you could place dew collectors and connect them to a tank top get a huge storage for your collectors .
I get around 500 bottles per 2 hours atm
@4:27 --- You need the Space Beacon to extend range on your auto-protection... a flag is not upgradeable afaik. So having your Space beacon as a separate base will limit your main base footprint.
the space beacon is needed for raids and the raid enemy need to destroy it as is their goal and need to place the creature spawner inside the repair range and is where they spawn. so would spawn inside your main base and will damage it also.
Why some build it in a seperate raid base. guess once upgrade it a lot it will be a better size to build in one spot.

Water collector is a good thing, when its enough water you get a bottle, so you dont have to make them,and they stack in the collector.

Food not-neccesarily spoils fast. You just have to eat wisely. If your food stack is under 5 min , as soon as you eat 1 item from the stack...it resets to 30 min for what is left. Iw ouldn't kill animals just to do it for the food because you may lose some but what rots goes towards fertilizer so not really that bad. I wasted more food in the infected easily
go to the desert and harvest cactus for plant mucus. you get alot
Been a good game so far, I'm not a fan of the respawn time on resources however. Feels a bit fast and doesn't encourage venturing out to find more.
Dude the meat doesn't spoil the stack it only does 1x just killing 1 rabbit is 10 meat thats 5 hours before it spoils the stack

The Recipes you have , also tell you if you have the mats in your bag by letting you know how many you can craft
YES KAGE! You need a proper desk! 😅 i got a new one for my pc. Set it up nicely with all ths cords and it JUST FIT... then i realised i couldn't press the power button on cos it was on the top😅 all my hard work i was so pissed off😂
I do the same thing; food/drink seem to be related to stamina useage. If you don't move, you don't use.
Actually it does tell you all about taming, It's in the Help menu, tells you how to do stuff
i went to work and came back 9 hrs later and had half the drink and food left its awesome
once you get electric you can make a fridge and your food last a lot longer 👍
dandelions are better for plant mucus they grow a lot around I6 and I7

06.13 your ingots was 75, and 75- 44 = 31.. The only survival you need to do in this game is your math.. 😂

you can use Fiber to smelt things

You can also just log out and back in and it will be morning and all resources will respawn. Also, you will upgrade to the Space ball thing to replace the flag thing. The Spaceball thing can be upgraded (for a cost in resources) and give you a larger repair range. But you will need to destroy your flag first because you can only have one or the other.

@@micksmith-vt5yi yes, I've had 2 space beacons set up, one at my base to protect it, and one out in a meadow with my creature lure, so they never get anywhere near my base.
But now I'm placing auto turrets on my balcony's and I'll put the creature lure outside my gate. But yes, so far I've been doing it out in a meadow, and I tried to surround it with spiked barriers but it wouldn't work, so I put just one to slow them down and just mow them down with my rifle and now my assault rifle.
@@WheezinGeezerTV The AI pathing is terrible and i tried hallways and stairs and they just hit the stairs and won't walk up them.
Will try again as now have every trap unlocked and nearly all tech also.
@@micksmith-vt5yi I haven't tried this technique yet, but I watched a video right after our first conversation that you might find interesting. And because they don't like when people leave links I'll tell you. Check out "The Front: Supply Beacon how to!" by Drakonus90. I liked his concept. And if that doesn't work I'll just mow them down with a lot of auto turrets.
I've also noticed, if I go out of the area, far enough away, stuff respawns.
You probably need to cook the fish.

u can get tungston building pieces as early as lvl1... need god mode tho... go to collection POI's in the snow and loot the crates u will get alot of tungston/titanium building pieces so it is possable to build a endgame base as a level 1 lol
Progamer tip. While you are out and about. Make rope. You need rope for everything.
I got a NPC and couldn't assign her to the manual miner like I wanted so I made her stay put. I went away and when I came back she had went poof so I haven't bothered again.

Why did the jammers not work the 1st time but did the 2nd?
You can find Inorganic Salt nodes in swamp area.
I found clusters of up to 6 nodes on the beach on the southwest coastline.

i hope u are reading the forums on this game, there are some very worrying things said about it.
You can teleport in multi if you are the server admin...
There is a lot I love about this game, but I have encountered some seriously game breaking bugs. Later I had 2 (polymer/vehicle) out of 12 work stations that simply ceased to allow me to open them consistently, so I took everything out and destroyed them hoping to rebuild them, and avoid the bug, but the game won't save even with the console "SaveGame" command. Color me frustrated. I'm done until this cooks for a while. I put in 20-ish hours over the weekend.
Use shift G it will give you a menu that show some cheats and save world.
I bet he didn't eat the fish because it wasn't cooked. when you first gave it to him, it showed -4 and grilled fish.
Around 11 hours ago, while I was still playing with the squad, our storage boxes on the shelfs glitched out and we couldn't get into them anymore. The F option was removed. Already had a ton of resources in them by then. One thing is for sure, they made the crafting chores a bit complicated, as in over kill, but I guess they didn't want anyone saying; "This is so like the game....". So far I am thinking the same people that made "The Infected" game either made this one, or influenced its design.
PVE servers are fun :) i got wiped in a PVP server after so much grinding lol

Make sure you only create items from blue prints that you have unlocked. I got a steel crossbow blueprint and I CAN craft IT BUT, you must have that item learned in order to use it. This is not cool.
I made a steel crossbow and couldn't use it but it was due to level (it was 40 something level required). I'm guessing you got the same problem.

Indeed, it is a complex game still under development and has a lot of finishing to go, which may never be completed from my experience with this game and other games offered as early access. Dang, that is a lot of fish traps. Started playing yesterday and played way too many hours on a private server offered through a game content maker with a Discord channel. Subbed. For sure your house/base/fort is too small since the game requires so many tables and other crafting things, plus storage.
It's bug with the items. It should be using 13 iron
Burn logs as much as can as need the carbon for ammo and you go through lots of ammo.
No i think you went too far out of range with your tame, don't have to go far and loot and nodes respawn because you have left the area and returned again.
You need to move your base to a better animal ground to get meat easier M14, K14 has 6 animal map marks or boar and wolves. i can't move without being surrounded by animals.
Yea i have simple mine shaft that runs auto and the oil well that run off a generator and now just built solar power and i AFK for over 1 hour and just stood in my house and i used no food or water either. must be just when running and using stamina.
I only have 1 fish trap as down in M14 area there is so much meat from wolves and eagles and foxes attacking me i have stacks of hundreds of meat.
Sometimes 3 wolves 2 foxes attack me at once. think his AI spawning is wrong in that area.
Lol no not all ocean has waves. i live in Queensland Australia lived at multiple places and surfed, some places on mainland are blocked by islands from open ocean and has to be real rough to get any waves. some coves are just ripples like in this game.
Also at map N11 near the cliff about halfway is a trader, will come up on left side of map with a rebel camp icon and a fist. can buy resources, chassis parts,seeds, talent books etc needs shards and i don't see a sell option or i miss something.
You will get extra blueprints, i have several of the same item and same level of epic, legendary uncommon etc so don't worry about the build limit of these too much..
You unlock a refirgerator later and airconditioning and heater. so food will last longer, i am not sure on time as has not built it yet but it does say lasts significantly longer.
I have not placed them yet as need to rebuild base as flags do not seem to cover all of mine to auto repair, noit sure if is too long and big of a base. can't get flags to overlap one another and leaves parts of base not under auto repair.
I have only around 10 items to unlock in every category and do not see a item to make dried meats, so fridge is only thing to make food last longer.

I looted a corn, ate it, and ended up with a corn seed.
Found some in the desert.
If you open your map, shift-left click on the map where you want go and it teleports you there.
Don't know if this is intended or a bug, but a patch was sent thru today and it still works.

Dang, taming her took a long time and a lot of effort. Waiting to see if all of that is worth it. O, that is disappointing. Like you were thinking, probably an early idea that needs more work. Since the game maker likes to program things so they are complicated, no doubt a lot of stuff is going to be buggy.

They're not fully implemented he did show you can put them into benches to level them but then you can't replace them.... later I'm sure they will be much like thralls in conan
@kage848 u need alot of carbon powder for everything so farm ALOT of meat (300+) and cook it all
lol, this shit.... I streamed this damn game for 9 hrs yesterday. Logged off twitch and proceeded to play till 430 am. for 20 bux this is the best survival crafter on the market right now when it comes to price vs content/playable product. It is surprisingly deep for early access/
