- 1970s era OMC Mustang model 330 with Wisconsin V4 engine. Winter shop project. My father left this parked in a shed for a number of years when it wouldn't start. I have not worked on this machine before, we'll see what I find.
Good luck with this project. My father had a late 1960's OMC Mustang before they introduced the 330 series. It was a real workhorse and was used and abused for almost 25 years in his concrete construction business. His had the Wisconsin air cooled engine. It would have lasted longer if my father had done more frequent oil changes. The biggest problem he had was with the teeth on the drive sprockets wearing down or breaking.
would you have a wiring diagram for the 345 mustang skid steer?

Working with my dad on his 330 mustang but we are having issues taking starter out. Its got original motor too.
Well what do you know! another 330 owner! If you need the parts diagrams or pics of the manual I can help with that. I just took out an Onan CCK and I'm putting in an NHC to replace it. Cummins still has parts for the Onans but I'm interested in how your v4 is mounted. Factory bolt holes??

hey guys I just picked up a 1970 mustang from a guy back east, im pretty excited about it, the guy says it runs like the day he first used it at work, in 1980 at a dog food factory. it has the 4 cylinder westconsin . I dont know much about them but im looking forward to learning. any tips would be appreciated. btw I think I stole it at $1500 cnd.

You can still buy parts at a Mustang dealer too. $170CDN for the chain coupler...ouch.
