      @@cutenobi Yes, I used Claude's BBQ Brisket Marinade and it turned out great. I have brisket snobs from Texas in my family and they couldn't believe that I pulled it off. Additionally, just wanted to say the electric roaster is an awesome kitchen appliance.

    If you cook it fat side up, all that fat will flavor the meat more and make it even more tender and taste really good! Also I’ve been using the Claud’s for years!!

    I love brisket in a crockpot. So tender. It doesn’t have to be smoked to taste good. It needs good seasoning and that slow cook to make the most tender brisket there is. I do enjoy smoked brisket but I also enjoy this style

    well did the fat side up make it any better? I use at wire rack on the bottom, I will try Claude's next time instead of onion soup.

      Yes, I felt like the fat side up made it juicier 😊. I also use two bottles of Claude’s if it is 15 lb.s or more now.

      No, just the marinade but I add two bottles now to large briskets and they come out more flavorful 😁

      I think pulled pork would be delicious this way but I would reduce the time because it will be much smaller.

      I just made it again yesterday and I started a 12 pound brisket on Sunday night at 9:30pm and cooked on 250o until 4pm Monday so like 19 hours but it was done before then so it doesn’t have to be that long.

      I cooked a 19 lb brisket from 11 pm until about 11 am next day at 225 and it was perfect!

      No, the marinade is very salty so no need to add additional salt.

      It wasn’t dried out but since this video if I am making a large brisket like this I put two bottles of the marinade and it adds more flavor 😊

      Whole brisket, bottle of Claudes Brisket marinade, onion sliced. Put in roaster oven at 250 for 10-12 hours. So easy 😊. Make sure you slice against the grain when done so you don’t end up with long strings of meat.

      So the meat doesn’t burn to the pan on the bottom and it makes excellent juice.

    That's is overcooked af. Probably 2 bottles if you're gonna buy a 100 dollar brisket and 190 to 200 degrees for 12 to 16 hours

      I actually used two bottles this weekend because it was a 21 lb brisket and cooked it for 14 hours on 225 degrees. It came out perfect and flavorful.

      Impossible to eat a brisket medium rare it has to be at least 190-205 before it’s tender. You wouldn’t be able to cut it.

    Briskets are cooked in a pit. Pot roast are cooked in a crock pot.

    Wish you were more precise about how long you cooked it.... You never actually stated how many hours you cooked the thing. You said you put it in at 11pm and are going to eat it for lunch. Thats not a start/end time-frame. A proper baseline procedure for any recipe is always a good start.

      I like to cook mine 10-12 hours but it depends on the size of the brisket and the temperature you want to cook it on.

      It's minutes per pound. This is a useless nitpick. If you're cooking in a Crock-Pot, it's when the meat falls apart.

    That brisket looks like dust in the video!...... You should always cook it fat up so it renders and helps flavour and keep the meat moist. Sorry but thats not "perfect" looks like it was cremated.

    Why in the world would you pour the marinade over the onions? That seems dumb. Actually you should marinate the brisket in the liquid 24 hours before putting it in the crockpot turning it and brushing it several times. The way that you did it over the onions you may as well pour the bottle down the toilet. It would be as effective. Actually this is a video of what not to do cooking a brisket.

      @@lukeferraro2172 onions cannot absorb the marinade. The marinade will just run off of the onions. I cooked a brisket in a crock pot and it turned out amazing. I just did a dry rub and put the brisket in the crock pot no liquid of any kind. The brisket made it’s own juices. Did the same thing with spare ribs awhile back.
