Persona 4 takes place in 2011, Persona 3 took place in 2009 exactly 2 years from then. Rise was there. She couldn't experience the dark hour...How? She has the potential so why wasn't she there?

Honestly after looking at this i kinda wished the series has the running trend where current game's highschool visits previous' highschools. But that's only happened twice/thrice, this and in Persona 2 i forgot where it happened
and the FeMC route has the visits to Yasogami, with Young Yukiko cameo aswell
Okay, Rise, Kanji, and Yosuke's VA's are the best, but the delivery for Yukiko's line at 20:42 was amazing. Props to her VA this time for that line alone.

Mickspad In the battle against the Escapade Pawlonia Mall boss, Shinjiro says that the power cut off in the Escapade club and a big important event had to be canceled because of that (Risette's show)
In the first Persona Q game, Shinjiro (the one who informs it) confirmed that Rise is the performer who was invited for that cancelled big event, so it comes full circle.
Playing Persona3 Reload makes me appreciate this, and the anime episode, even more!

The anime version of the school trip is basically one big love letter to Persona 3, with that game's music sprinkled here and there. They even recreated Chie's Social Link event in the same vein as Yukari's 5th Rank Social Link event.

It's a placebo, they're in a club that used to sell alcoholic drinks, the atmosphere and the idea that they could potentially have been drinking drinks spiked with alcohol ended them making them drunk :)
