im in the same boat. but this tattoo redo show is quite a breath of fresh air! i hate the concept of tattoos combined with television but atleast this show mixed it up a bit
Not only did he nail the coverup, he knew how to correctly tattoo color on darker skin! Okay Netflix coming through with the good hygiene and great tattoo artists!! I liked the format for this video, reacting to one client’s whole story rather than skipping around. I’d watch if you revisit the episode or the show either way because I watched the whole show in like two days 🤪
I’m just glad that this show is relatively positive. No competition, no people screwing each other with rude joke tattoos, just wholesome, good intention tattooing
I watched through the whole series in an evening and honestly the majority of the tattoos were super good! Nobody wanted to screw anyone over and had the person they came with's best interests at heart which was nice.
Wholesome is a reoccurring theme. The show seems to want to pull at heartstrings rather than create drama. It works, but it also seems to inspire better tattoos than some other coverup tattoo shows.
I second this! It is so nice to see a tattoo show that has good artists, friends and family that want their loved one to have the best tattoo, has hygiene standards that are up to snuff, and no horrible drama! So pleasantly surprised and I ended up binging it in a few days, lol.
fun fact: Chris Nunez is one of the producers, so I guess it explains a bit the level of skill of artists included (imo most of tattoos made on show are dope)
I binged the whole show. I ended up loving it and following all of the artists because of how good their work was. It is so much better than a lot of reality shows because I feel like the show's main goal is to make everyone happy and have them leave with a great tattoo. No competition to put time limits or put the artists in a position to screw up. The editing is great and gives you the suspense you want in reality tv but none of the mean hearted goal to screw someone over.
The fisheye lens bit at the start was great, but my favorite bit was when Lauren almost shed tears of happiness at the excellent hygiene! 😂 The fact that the tattoo actually turned out well is just icing on the cake for an excellent video! 😊
I actually liked this show a lot! The alien tattoo by twig and the sternum/stomach butterfly tattoo were absolutely amazing! Also you had the exact same reaction as me when the girl rejected the lady head 😅
I love the way you focused on one person instead of going through all 3. It made it more personal to the person being tattooed so you can speak about it without having to move all over the place.

when I turned 18 my mom and I did "trust tattoos" where we each designed a tattoo for the other and got it done without seeing what the design was until it was finished. she did a lovely floral and moon design for me, and I made a horizontal infinity symbol with a mother and daughter embracing for her. overall good experience

My tattoo artist has recently got one of those "lucky dip" machines where you turn the dial and a random tattoo design comes out! I'm going for one on Saturday and I'm scared and excited all at the same time 🤣 I'm pretty covered so not really concerned, just a bit of fuuuun 🤞🤞

I actually have 3 blind tattoos so far. Its a pretty cool and adrenaline like experience. I chose the category like NBC for example and my artist drew up the design and i wore a blindfold the whole time and then i see it after the tattoo is done. Its not for everyone but i would say if you have trust in your artist and they know what you like then it's something fun to give a try

A young man who was a popular TH-camr named Martyn Hett who talked about Coronation Street a lot got a portrait of his favorite Character Deidre done as a cover over script and after he sadly died in the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, the show gave his father a tattoo of his son cosplaying as the character.

Gladioli come in very varied colours so they can come in dark purple and red so actually a really gd flower choice for colour

Matt is the best one in the studio, his coverups are amazing at hiding the old tattoos while others you can clearly see the old tattoo.
