    something to add to tatooines history: iirc, the rakata glassed the world because the kumonga (not sure if i spelled that correctly) *succesfully* rebelled. it wasnt just that they rebelled, but they were able to kick the rakata off the planet. thus the severe retailation.

      The Kumumgah were a very advanced and civilized species by the time the Rakata got there. But the Rakata were just better. Though it is impressive to know they actually kept their word and drove them off tatooine.
      And it’s often theorized and I at least accept it that the Tusken Raiders are the descendants of the Kumumgah that adapted to the environment or going underground. Although now that I think about it that makes wonder how in the hell the Krayt Dragons evolved and that terrifies and excites me

      @@megaman1808
      The Kumumgah survivors of the planetary glassing turned on themselves for resources. Over time they split into 2 species, being the Tuskans and the Jawas. The reason they look so different is because the Jawas went underground, while the Tuskans became nomadic tribes, therefore evolving according to their new environments for several thousands of years.
      That's the going theory anyway.

    I’ve always had mixed feelings about the Brother, Sister, Father, and the Je-Dai.
    They are all concepts that entirely go against what George Lucas intended the Force to be. That being, it was originally just The Force and The Dark Side, with the Dark Side being something completely unnatural that only came about as a result of the selfish and cruel trying to bend the Force to their will and forcibly extract power from it. The Dark Side was basically cancer to The Force, with balance meaning that the Dark Side was gotten rid of entirely and things were restored to the natural order.
    The term ‘Light Side’ was never even used in the first six films.

    • @jacobjensen7704
      @jacobjensen7704 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      There are ways to interpret the Brother, Sister, and Father that doesn't use this silly notion that light + dark = balanced. I've seen other channels talk about it. To note, the entire Mortis arc revolves around the Brother's fall to the dark side. That wouldn't make sense if he personified the dark, so you can interpret it differently.

    • @Shashu_the_little_Voidling
      @Shashu_the_little_Voidling ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Honestly, screw what the original idea was, the dark and light side being two equal but opposite forces keeping eachother in check works better and is a way better life philosophy to take into reallife than the cancer one.
      Also, just by naming it "the Dark side" it already implies the existence of a light side, even if it was never explicitly mentioned.

      Coolest lightsaber: a lightsaber where you can set the angle of the grip (like dooku’s) and the size of the blade. The crystal would be yellow (to represent a balance of blue and green) and the hilt would be all black, and there would be another kyber crystal hidden in the bottom of the hilt in order to replace the one in the ignition chanber if someone were to pull it out. The bottom of the hilt would be reflective in order to see behind you (although very limited) in case you have multiple opponents. The lightsaber also shifts its color between blue, yellow and green depending on how it was used. I hope I win the dooku hilt!

      George Lucas's storytelling of Star wars is actually based upon the readings of anunnaki ancient stone tablets like the emerald tablet which is known to hold all of the secrets of advanced technology and these people were atlanteans and very old books that are said to be truth of the origins of humans from a alien species coming to Earth to seed life and the theory of one true conscious of the force which is all life in our known universe is one you and I are the same we all come from The singularity of one conscious god is you and you are god and the Jedi order in the book was inspired by people named the Djedi of Syria in the ancient past and the knights Templars what's a mixture of recent history in politics and society and did you know Mars apparently has weaponized uranium in the soil and it baffles scientist because the only way this could happen was from a nuclear weapon and it said Mars used to be a moon and this is where those people came from escaping war the emerald tablet which states you can have eternal life with the creation of the sorcerer's Stone and the key ingredient is your urine!!!! but only with your collection of morning pee I believe a liter when it is collected you use alchemy and chemistry which originated from a place called kemet (Egypt) which kemet means chemistry Thoth the Egyptian God was the father of chemistry science mathematics and alchemy these Egyptian gods were considered to be real people that were just more advanced species anyways you burn on a flame with burners for up to two years continuously the recipe is on the internet archives supposedly it's supposed to give you an internal life and wisdom all of everything in the universe apparently someone did achieve this successfully it turns into a soft stone that is red like a Ruby but this person has disappeared mysteriously so has a famous alchemist Nicholas flamel who used Abraham the Jew book they even thought poop contained this as well gross Isaac Newton as well tried. There's a recipe on the Ripley scroll and the mutus liber.

The handle is carved out of a Zabrak Horn engraved with the sith eternal crest but also known as a hex charm on one side. The other has Mythosaur skull. Cool the Celestials, like the Mortis Gods and the Bendu, are what the force gods are supposed to be like, unlike the Corrupted/Fallen Celestials, like Typhojem, are the opposite.
    Almost like a "Fallen Angel" type of situation. And Abeloth is a mortal-made-god that went mad with power
    Also, for clarification and those still asking;
    The Son wasn't a master of the Dark side. There aren't "sides" of the Force. Different aspects of it, sure, but the Dark Side is a corruption of the Force. Anger, Passion, aggressiveness, all this is a part of life. Letting negative emotions consume you however, that's when you begin to lose control, to become corrupted.
    The Nightsisters actually worshipped the Mortis Gods, and they had the best view on the Force, as well as Balance. It's why, unlike Sith, the Nightsisters used darker aspects of the Force, but didn't actually use the Dark Side. If anything, one could argue they were too conservative with what they had. The complete opposite of the insane greed of the sith. They all remained on Dathomir, making it easy to wipe their people out (for the most part). I get why they stayed, but it was the one mistake they made that doomed them... but that's another conversation altogether.
    The "Light" Side isn't a thing, its simply what it was called after the Dark Side became a thing. The Son's whole ARC on Mortis was him falling to the Dark Side... so many fans have misunderstood this ARC, its insane;
    Also, more Jedi than Sith isn't a bad thing. Balance isn't a numbers game with the force like so many believe.
    Balance is the Dark Side being extinguished, and the light being the OG balancing force. To reiterate, the Son of Mortis was never a master of the Dark Side, his entire story ARC was literally about him falling to the Dark, to Corruption, in the end.
    Having thousands of Jedi wasn't the issue. The way their Order was set up and functioned was the issue. The "False Light" of their Order was the issue. Anakin didn't have to slaughter their kind off to achieve balance, a reformation of the Order would've worked as well... just would've taken longer. Wiping the slate clean by annihilation of the Order and the Sith was just a more cut and dry method of doing it. Inner peace, anger, passion, etc is all important, but letting your negative emotions corrupt you... THAT is why the Dark Side is unnatural.

    • @user-wr6dj4ib9o
      @user-wr6dj4ib9o ปีที่แล้ว +4

      there are sides of the force dark side being corruption is how lucas originally wanted it to be but was retconned by stuff like kotor and others

    • @draugarnatt3816
      @draugarnatt3816 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A fairly good description, the way I see it the "Light Side" is even more misunderstood than the Dark Side, mainly because it is not a distinct thing. The Jedi or other "Lightsiders" aren't these pacifist monks who only ever resort to violence as the very last option, they simply are individuals who don't let (negative) emotions guide their actions (ideally, at least). The Nightsisters are a good example, being "dark but not Darksiders", as are many characters that could be considered Gray Jedi. In this context, despite the Dark Side being considered a corruption of the Force, the term makes sense if you think about it: Characters that aren't classical Lightsiders as the Jedi and a lot of the fandom envision them, but have not been corrupted either. Passion and ambition aren't necessarily negative, and anger and even a degree of selfishness is natural (nobody is 100% selfless or selfish, after all, and there's a thing called Altruism Paradox that many Jedi seem to show signs of). But it's one thing to become aware of, acknowledge and to a degree channel them, and letting them guide your action and rational mind; the latter is what I conisder the original Dark Side. The "Light Side" the Jedi follow is merely their dogma, not the Dark Side's polar opposite. Similarily, I don't think there are distinct Dark Side Force powers, but of course you wouldn't have many good reasons to slowly choke someone to death or torture them with lightning if you weren't driven by hatred or sadism towards them. My interpretation at least.

    • @Valkyraw
      @Valkyraw 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Balance isn't the dark side being extinguished, it's as it says balanced. The light can't exist without the dark side and vice versa.

    • @davidmontgomery8332
      @davidmontgomery8332 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say that using the force is unnatural. That why they are called wizards. Because to normal people it’s magic. So balance would be nobody wields the force. It just exists and influences the universe without outside manipulation.

      @RabblesTheBinx honestly, I'm fine with the sequels. I'm easily entertained and I don't let something like that bother me since I've already got so much actual stuff going on. Like worrying about insurance and if my rights are gonna be taken

    I would say that given the Rakata were at their peak shows how powerful a leader and individual sithari king adas was personally think he should be the greatest military leader of star wars not thrawn given thrawn had similar tech level as his enemies and allies with multiple worlds adas was 1 world and lower overall tech vs one of the biggest and most militant empires ever and to be able to cripple them to a degree they likely never recovered from causing the first domino for their fall probably. and they feared the sith system so much they never went back plus the leader of the invasion was the strongest and oldest known rakata soa who may have directly confront celestials during his prime. also wasn't aware of the kilik invasion
    I also think that the dark jedi corrupted the siths more pure and accurate views of the darkside twisting them from the correct use of the dark side then any other influence. Also the jedi as always the source of many of the problems plaguing the galaxy

    I hate the concept of Midi-chlorians. When it was just some mysterious force it was awesome. Then they added some stupid pseudo scientific nonsense explanation. It never needed to be explained.
