Fantastic video, William. It's great to see all the configuration options of your gear for different operators and applications. Keep up the good work. Qore Performance, you have a new sub. Thanks for the content.
As Will mentions at 3:57, it is the Great Plains Creations Exoskeleton and can be found here: greatplainscreations.com/products/ols/products/uv5r-exoskeleton
Appreciate seeing someone else running cross-dominate. I also have to run left shoulder long arms and right pistol. Which makes it a little more challenging for setting up vests and carriers. Have you seen signal improvement or degradation with the wearable on 2 meter/70 CM freqs? Or MURS and GMRS freqs for that matter? That PRC-152 is a hell of a lot smaller than the PRC 77s and 25s we had.
I’ve been a researching caatails antennas for about 5 months lol I have a baofeng uv-5R .. but on the website it says a TNC is a stronger connection.. so I want a setup like the military… with a relocation whip FOR the antenna.. But on the website I’m getting confused with the TNC-BNC- SMA BAOFENG RADIO IS A M.. so I need a TNC-F to BNC/TNC-M to attach a antenna? I need help
It is good to see you used Baofeng for the example, it's cheap and valuable for the beginner (though it has AR 152 nowadays) , UV5R still be the first option :D
I love seeing companies purposefully support civilian usage. Some companies go out of their way not to sell anything to civilians, as if only government actors should have access to this equipment
@@QorePerformanceUSA And with that, I love you guys. Once I get my Crye SPC I'll be coming to you guys for pads and probably some ice plates to stand in until I can get real plates.
Silly question, but would it be possible to have a caatail that connects to the relocation cable/radio on one end, but then on the other end it connects to the abbree? That way you get this huge amount ot antenna that can be woven into the kit, but then if/when you need that bit of antenna to stick up higher, you'll have it? Or another thing I was wondering is, you have the relocation cable that runs from the radio, to the back of the carrier, then at the other end of the relocation cable, it splits off into two heads, and you can connect an abbree to one, and a caatail to another.?
FM portable radios work off of vertical polarization. That means the antenna should be straight up and down. The signal propagation of the wearable antenna seems like it would be garbage.
Are you an idiot? Really.. a radio that fits magazines??? Obviously you are either some dumb 8 year old or a poor guy from a third world country that can't speak English. Seriously, if that is your question you have no business even watching videos like these.
Ooo love the clean unused gear look. The clean vest, the gun and mags with no scratches, the radio poking the man in his peachfuzzed face. This instills confidence. Joking aside, he does have a point. Mag marking will help ID what ammo you have in there. Unless you load the wrong kind in after. That's on you.
"mom it's a multiplayer game I can't pause it". 😆
Excellent information!
Glad it was helpful! #StayFrosty
man id love a 152...

Finally found a video like this...
Hope it was helpful!
Outstanding. That can of chew trick was worth the watch alone. Dude just got my business. 👍
Hey what is the Baofeng power button holder piece you have there at the 4:30 mark?
As Will mentions at 3:57, it is the Great Plains Creations Exoskeleton and can be found here:

For those with baofengs: Covert Arms makes a ptt boom mic kit for ear pro w/ a 3.5mm jack. Great for helm comms or just running with your ear pro.
Honestly this is the best choice. And only 1/4 the price of mil Peltors
Wow, gr8 vdo on coms & atennas. Gr8 demo on routing the cable based on occupation, & type of connection points. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.
Glad you found it helpful!
Excellent video. Semper Fi.

Why can't the antenna be routed under a hydration bladder? I'm assuming the water affects VSWR?

The government should not have a monopoly on anything…especially instruments like these.

Hello I’m curious where you have gotten the EF Johnson radio.
*hk slap* 😂

What radio pouch is used for the recce build?
what is the the headphones used on first two?
What about SWR on the relocation antenna.
How do you deal with it.
He doesnt
We buy 151
What is the whip for?
Sending and receiving transmissions from mom.
Making your GF happy 😂

That’s what I was thinking, I think these are probably best for inner squad comms
Does the civilian unit fit 5.56 mags? Civilians have more AR15s than the military. Would think that would be default
Civilian unit? Mag pouches, radio pouches, other???

@Qore Performance I believe they think these plate carriers are sold rigged out as shown in video and not scalable to the end user 😂

Can you imagine running around your home with this sh.t on 😅😅😅😅
fwiu you shouldnt use the folding radio folded.
A folding radio? When did those come out? 🤔
