23:00 says it all! You were one breath from a thousand-foot fall! Combine the adrenaline of the ride with that of seeing the sheer dropoff... it's no wonder you heart rate is at 160bpm!

Trails were so good this year a lot of work put into them at 32:10 you said a puncture would be devastating well I got a puncture on the first fire road but got down with a good time can’t wait to do it all again in September , awesome riding 🤙

We considered Madeira for last summers family holiday as it was my 50th but the climate can be a little inclement in Aug, so we went the the Algarve instead, I took my bike and although not as epic the riding out there was👌🏻 especially from the mountain, very similar terrain with the eucalyptus trees and loamy trails.. maybe in a year or two
