First of all, You could lose it all and you could win it all. It goes both ways. Secondly, what works for A may not necessarily work for B and you should not be a bandwagon investor. A good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market

I have been consuming a lot of content lately on finance and they only educate you about getting out of debt, creating an emergency fund and then investing and waiting till you are old to become rich. Om 48 and never invested I gross about 55000 a yr. I have about 40000 in my 401k and about 40000 worth of credit I rent my home and lease a car which is about 22000 what should I do to to become wealthy. I never was taught what your teaching
I like to by individual stocks and it works for me. I don't like managed investments as i like to be in control and i don't need others to manage my money as nobody will look after my money better then me. This is not for everyone but if you know what you are doing then that is the best option!
Another option for people is the satellite approach, where you have a fund or group of funds with the majority of your money, but you supplement with individual stocks. It's less risky than all individual stocks but still teaches the ups and downs of investing

Great stuff Jaspreet. Just yesterday my wife said we need to start saving for college for our 8 year old son. I said we need to keep INVESTING and build wealth, and then we can help him with college, dedicated fund or not. I'm reselling on eBay and using the profits to reinvest in more stuff to flip, stocks or other assets (metals, art etc). I'm a small potatoes dude right now, but I'm consistently earning 200-500% returns. Eventually I'll scale up. I use my 9-5 for our standard budget. 🙂 Now if I can convince her the actively managed IRA she has is costing her a ton of future money, due to higher fees.

Just breaking even once the gold is sold would be hard. Most of the time you will lose money. It does work as a way to save for someone that has a hard time saving money since you have to sell it first. You will get the highest amount selling it online instead of to a dealer. Selling online is also the highest risk. A buyer could claim they never got it and want a refund.

This is great. Pretty much what "The Millionaire Fast Lane" by MJ DeMarco teaches. It's hard to build great wealth from conventional advice.I had only $78k to my name at 42 when I first woke up to this reality. I chose the stock market as a medium of growth, got an excellent financial advisor. It's been almost six years now, and I'm a couple thousands shy of a million.
I loved that book too. Changed my life. I started out on the stock market too, but went solo. It was even in 2020 a friend introduced me to a financial advisor, when my portfolio almost wiped out completely. Thank goodness for that.
I think that is the problem most beginners have, particularly when they hear how some people got lucky off investing, on social media. Platforms that enable easy trading too, like Robinhood, don't make the situation any easier.
Only if you are using a low income mortgage company like Fannie Mae. If you use a company designed for the poor to get a mortgage it is leveraged for them. If you aren't it won't affect you. I never used them because my credit union had better everything over them.

I loved that book too. Changed my life. I started out on the stock market too, but went solo. It was even in 2020 a friend introduced me to a financial advisor, when my portfolio almost wiped out completely. Thank goodness for that.
I think that is the problem most beginners have, particularly when they hear how some people got lucky off investing, on social media. Platforms that enable easy trading too, like Robinhood, don't make the situation any easier.
I recently invested in T24JF and so far it's been a great decision. The price has been steadily increasing and I have high hopes for its future.

Only if you are using a low income mortgage company like Fannie Mae. If you use a company designed for the poor to get a mortgage it is leveraged for them. If you aren't it won't affect you. I never used them because my credit union had better everything over them.
