Today its time to fly out the Me 262 A-1a in a Realistic Battle. It has been in the game for a long time, and it sits at br 7.0. The Me 262 A-1a Schwalbe has been a great jet in the game. I flew out a few matches the other night, lets see how it went. Hope you enjoy :)

PRO TIP! run your engines at 99% they will not overheat at 99% and you still run pretty much max power

Wow, I'm just so amazed that u meet props at 7.0. I was playing the me 262 a1/a yesterday and I was in a game that consisted of my team being all me 262 1a/a's, a1/u4's and ho 223 v3's, the enemy consisted of f80's, meteors and a2D's. I was so amazed by the me 262 performance on this br, because it absolutely wrecks everything. I managed to stack up 5 kills...
Needs to be 6.7 IMO, late war planes like the Bearcat and Lavochkins would still be very competitive against it, and the Schwalbe currently faces 8.0 uptiers a bit too much

Hey guys, the Jet RB adventure continues with the 7.0 br Me 262 A-1a, a plane that has a solid place in the early jet age, but does have guns that take some getting used to. Hope you guys enjoy, let me know what you think and what your experiences are with this plane :)

Oh and also I have a god computer but I figured out that when you turn cloud quality all the way down they literally-disappear, though you cant see the clouds the clouds are technically still there so you may not see the players name but you can see their plane. It is pretty op

Hey mate. Just got my two first games with this jet. Got 3 kills 2 assists and one death. Love that thing. Watched this video 3 times lol.

This plane is a dream to fly in simulator battles. It is fast and agile with a great climbing ability. I have found planes which are heavy, and sluggish in RB are fantastic in SB. The other two 262s above this one, I recommend you only purchase them to get to the CL 13a. The other two 262s in RB are totally useless. Don't waste your time and efforts on spading them. Just get to the CL 13a and, be happy.
i have all of them mate, once gaijin finally decompress tierV the rocket 262's will be usefull again.

Hasn't got the highest or even 2nd highest burst mass. First is F1 Hunter, 2nd is He-219.
i remembered the hunter, which is why i corrected myself, but completely forgotten about the He-219, and i even reviewed the thing, so i stand corrected sir!
OMG gg bro and you have some creasy lack if that was me WT would cout a ram in that last kill. But still GG. Went to fly it and got reck 3x in a row and one death was from head on with P-80 sucker kill my pilot from 1.2 km in freaking head on, my lack is my enemy :-())))
cheers mate, yeah, that close up shooting requires a planned exit route, im still learning on how to perfectly execute those, i usually shoot further out with more time to respond to the wreckage, with this still of shooting you have way less time ;)
How am i supposed to fly this crate? I like its looks and heritage (obviously as a german lel) but i cant make it work. Not even in AB. The guns are well, not suited for dogfighting - it was never designed to do so - it turns like a brick, it has a huge repair bill and it has an awful acceleration. Oh, and airbrakes are missing as well, thats why i like the 229 much more. Infact its the only 7.0 German plane that doesnt tilt my mood, exept for the C3 of course
Keep it fast, boom and run. be patient, make sure to only shoot when your CLOSE, 400m convergence.
Jengar the problem is getting at altitude. My 262 is bone stock, it doesn't accelerate and if i try to sideclimb an F-84B spots me and I'm a dead man. Oh, and with every death i lose 25.000 Silver Lions and I am someone who is desperate for them
ah, stock is always a pain.
Just climb straight at them at like 10 degrees and head on everything

It's a shotgun plane, which is a bit more difficult these days with all the new competition.

i go at 300 knots and the climb at 10 degrees, it retains it at that speed, maintain that speed it just devastates f8f's and the b-29's
i dont know what knots represent in km/u but it can retain around 500 km/u at a shallow climbing angle, whic is the way i went too.
300 knots = 555.6 km/h
Try out the F86 F2 in RB, its awesome
i will eventually, i will first complete my first 7.0 roundup with a brit and a yank, after that we'll do a 5 part series of 8.0's trough all nations, and then into a round of 9.0 ;)
Weight doesn't affect dive acceleration.
two of the 3 wiki's i read on the plane specifically mentioned that, but teaches me that you cant too much trust in wiki's after all. Cheers for the heads up.
Jengar well to be completely honest it does affect it. Not sure how much this is implemented in WT tho. Lighter planes have faster initial acceleration in a dive due lower inertia momentum. Up to the point where it's aerodynamical vmax is reached. It's limited only by its geometrical shape. Heavier planes will have better acceleration close to vmax because the ratio between air resistance / gravitation force is lower.
So theoretically +-0 :]
The 262 is such a good Diver due to its aerodynamical Raffinesse. Just look at its vmax it can achieve in a dive or even straight line, although it's engines are the weakest jet engines ingame.
mate, i stand in awe before your theoratical knowledge, problem with me is i like to fly and look at them, not read about them too much. Not that i would have the time for more then a few wiki's before comentating the video, with the baby and work and all. But i still want to make the effort because i dont want to talk crap all the time ;) i do that enough already hehe. The depth of your knowledge i will never reach though, i invite you to comment more often though, so you can suppliment my knowledge with usefull comments like this, perhaps that was i'll be able to make the terms my own one day ;)

Germany has one of the most divers and interesting jet lines in war thunder. Really worth going for :)

Yeah, just trying to get American jets, which I'm so close too. I'd probably go for the British next though, really want me a hunter. After that is definitely Germans though, but I'm working on their tanks atm.
hunter is nice too indeed ;) there's a lot of good stuff in tier V.

Indeed, it's very exciting, I'm going down the American line now because of the newly covered f9f-5, a swept wing naval jet. You've probably seen it already, tis a beauty.

I find the 262 unbalanced because its just basicly better than the p80, i fly my p80 right in every aspect but i always die to 262s.
personally i feel that 7.0 is one of the most balanced and fun br's at this moment. both those planes can compete at that br.
it actually did see a fair amount of action bane, 1433 were build and most were used ;)

Sadly another unplayable plane, power creep ruined all german ww2 jets hard

@@ElderWillows so you think it's ok for 262s to fight f89s, f84s, etc. And the other fighter 262s fight mig 15s, Sabres, and there's also a 262 at 8.0 that fights F11s. I have great stats on the props and the jets that are actually good but these things are trash at their tier
@@threadworm437 I've been having a blast in RB in my 7.0 262, Not touching the higher BR ones unless I really want.. Not every plane is going to be good at it's BR doesn't mean early German jets are bad. Some things are balanced not just for Air RB. But the realism!! meh it's a game.
