      Wilt Chamberlain led the league in rebounding 11 times, it may not have been straight but considering Bill Russell who is the number 2 rebounder all time before Wilt prevented it makes all the since in the world. As great as Dennis is given his size and whom I consider to be the greatest rebounder pound for pound would not have gotten 1 rebound champion nod in the 1960s.

    Dennis Rodman is a genius when it comes to basketball. He is so underrated because of the other stuff that he used to do that made him absolutely unique. No player could’ve gotten away with the stuff that Dennis got away with. Not only was he probably the greatest rebounder that has ever lived, but he was also a first team defensive expert. One of the best to ever played the game.

    The thing I love about Dennis rodman was when you see him playing for his team. He's all business loyal as can be and he would go above and beyond he had to do for his team. He loved his team and all he wanted from them was love back and he gave everything he had and left it out there on the floor. A true heart of a champion and for those people who can see that they don't understand the game

      Everyone had a decent 7 footer. Year in year out he was always on the top at the end of the season. His conditioning was second to none. He would get on the bike or treadmill before and after the game.

    Competition was that much tougher back then, you needed a special weapon to give you a edge, Rodman was that weapon

    Back in the day, we had magazines that would get insights from the players of how they operated. As a short guy, I took on Rodman's philosophy, started getting boards against much bigger guys. As a point guard, started reading and listening to Tim Hardaway with his killer crossover, it worked. Always listen to the giants of a game, learn from them, then stand on their shoulders and innovate. Same goes for any sport or industry or career :)

    I wish he still played, he was so interesting to watch. He was like an illusion. Always had people thinking one thing but it was always a distraction.

    Rodman was a legendary rebounder. He would score 5 points a game but the team would struggle if he wasn't on the court. He made any team he was on much much better. A true team player like no other. The perfect teammate on the floor. Maybe not in the locker room but on the court he was a monster.
