I ended up selling my tires and wheels for 1200 bucks, and I could have got 1600, but I just wanted to get rid of them, which is exactly what the employees were planning to do with my brand new tires

Hey Arturo, I love the truck! Super Sick!! Just a heads up, I had spacers in the front on my 6"BDS lift and after 20k miles all the sensors started giving me faults on my dashboard. In the beginning it happened once every other week. As time progressed it happened more and more frequently until it would happen as soon as I backed out of the driveway. I took it to 3 different Ford dealerships and nobody could figure out the problem. I finally took it to the last ford dealership in town and the mechanic caught the issue. Apparently the spacers caused a different angle on the pitman arm. Over time the arm was wearing down and had more movement / play in the steering than it should have had. Thats what was throwing the codes. I took off the 6" BDS lift and went to an 8" Fabtech coil overs without the spacers and all the problems went away. I am currently running 37" Nittos on 24" Hostile Wheels. They look tiny on my truck. I have since ordered American Force Flex 26x14 black wheels on 40" Toyos from Custom Offsets. I also installed a new front bumper. Its the Stealth by Addictive Desert Designs. That bumper allows the clearance without spacers. If you end up having the same issue I had you may need to beef up your pitman arm or remove the spacers so that the proper angle of the pitman arm doesn't throw codes. Hope you don't have any issues.
Happens alot on lifted trucks it's always just level or the back squatting a little bit which if you tow something it squats big time obviously because stock is higher in the back so on my lifted trucks I always have them put a 1 inch bigger block in the back then what comes in the lift kit and that will make it level or even a touch higher in the back which helps for towing etc
Hello bro, I love your truck, it's a dream come true for anyone, when you put the spacers on top of your 8 inch ready lift, did you change the shocks that come with the lift kit?
Happen only to guys that know nothing about trucks and lifted trucks ,I had a 6inch lift and 37 plus wheels added by the best shops ever ,BUT I already had a buyer for every new factory part that was being replace by the lift kit ,tires and wheels, shocks, everything almost paid for the cost of the lift kit...don't be afraid to ask buddy.
@@ArturoSuperCar I’m looking to do a 6” with 37’s, stock wheels with 2” spacers for now… reason I’m thinking spacers is if my mpg is garbage, it’s coming off and a smaller 2” or 4” lift will take its place. Just don’t want to fork out for wheels that may not work with smaller lifts until I know for certain.
You can block the back, or install airbags. Not sure if you tow or not, but bags is the way to go for the rear. All reputable shops should explain the reason for sag as it’s a very easy fix. If they cared about customers, and their work, they would have shown you pictures of trucks already done to get your exact expectations. I like the 250 and 350s though. As far as getting your parts back, they tried to take advantage of you, no doubt. That’s really shitty.

What are you talking about dude?!?! It looks fuckin bad ass!! When you lift a truck you ALWAYS want the front either level or a couple inches higher to compensate for sag when the lift settles!!
melvin barbee man I’m loving it! Putting new springs in the back to level it, mpg came down to 12 tho! 😜😅, make sure you get the dual steering wheel stabilizer from DBS, it makes the ride so much better :) do it and send me pics 🤩🤩🤩
@@ArturoSuperCar Thanks for the advise! I'm going to order them now. I'll definitely send you a pic, and get my parts back. You make a good point about them keeping your parts.

If you buy a truck you buy 350 or 450. If you buy a 250 , just buy a 150. The haul ratings are very similar between a 150 and a 250. There definitely are a few differences for sure between a150 and a 250. Those stock components are worth money
Yeah the shop trying to keep your parts is just them trying to make a couple of extra bucks off of you. As far as them not wanting to break up a kit I have to be honest with you I really couldn't understand your point but I don't really see why that would have been a problem. Maybe they were just trying to keep it simple and easier on themselves like I said I couldn't really understand what you were trying to accomplish by breaking the kit up. All and all I don't think you got "scammed" you got your parts back and your truck is lifted. Unfortunately shops are just shady that's why I try to do everything myself.
Your getting scammed…. You just need a new rear block 1/2 taller than the one you have. Also most shops, won’t separate a kit, so you likely had to buy the steering stabilizer. But…. They should have given that back to you. You just paid for some of there inventory if you didn’t ask for it back.

I’m sure there’s a contract and list of compliance’s they need to keep up to in order to be a vendor.
How could you of gone so cheap on the lift ? I don’t understand it. Also if you look at the pinion angle (front driveshaft, from the differential to the transfer case) you will see that it is way too sharp of an angle. What that means is during flexing while you are driving the front universal joint will bind and maybe break which could be an expensive repair. The fix is to have your transfer cases clocked so the angle is not so extreme. It is a plate that goes in between your transmission and transfer case and allows your transfer case to be slightly rotated to avoid binding of your pinion bearing. You guys absolutely kill me, you want a good look and care about nothing else. Well it will look good on a lift getting repaired. And ready lift is the absolute worst (and cheapest) lifts ever, but you will find that out when you lose your lift when something breaks. And something will break because it’s cheap. Did you think of castor angle ? I bet you didn’t, so when you all of a sudden run over something small at highway speed and your steering wheel starts to shake violently you will again know that maybe a cheap lift is not the way to go.
