- This has been an magically mammoth building experience - four gorgeous modulars and everything that the magicking student needs in one Lego alleyway. Today's build completes Diagon Alley - Quality Quidditch Supplies and The Daily Prophet. I suspect those quidditch robe displays are going to be very popular. Now that it's finished, I have to find somewhere to display this beast. And decide what to build next - everything else seems so weeny after this one 😳.
Hi! If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets. I tend to geek out about new pieces, interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so I get stuff wrong which I fix up, mostly, but in the end there is always an awesome model ready for play and display. Love your channel!!!!! There's so much to like about your videos!!!!! You building each set and still making people laugh talking about the sets, that you show everything that goes with each one, that you make those custom builds(my favorite was the Easter set you made....or the "too much" videos like too much blue))))), that you DON'T talk about price per pieces, that you DON'T talk about Minifigures and sets being accurate/inaccurate to a movie(like Harry Potter), DON'T talk about sets being "too much" like many others do and they do it every time a new set is reviewed!!!!! Plus there also are those reviews that talk about collectable minifigures sets and they talk about "feeling the package" to get the ones they want.....i never do that....why can't they be happy with the ones they get???? Plus retailers don't especially like that either!!!! Anyways you're always making me laugh with your videos!!!! Does Millie still help you with Lego sets???? She's funny too. Love your channel and you're the first channel I watch....except only go to other ones when they're reviewing a set you haven't reviewed.....

It is strange how the Ravenclaw robes on the first floor of Quality Quidditch Supplies are just grey. It would be confusing because Slytherin colours have grey as well, and a witch/wizard could buy them thinking they were Slytherin robes.

I really do. It’s essentially four modular building in one box, and a single modular goes for $200-$250 here in Australia. It is a large amount of money to outlay at once though
@@ellieV here in NZ, I'm hoping they'll put it on Layby, lol, as that's the only way I would be able to afford it being 17yrs old with student debt... unless I win that Lego Harry Potter competition, lol!!

Maybe the colours of the robes on the bottom level are colours of ‘Professional’ quidditch teams. For example the... I don’t know any of the team names. But you get the picture. Also, yeah I think these buildings would work with a ‘old city’ theme maybe even using the Lego Creator Expert sets since the detailing style is similar. I would love to build this set and modify and build the Creator Experts that fit the theme and have it laid out as a magnificent city/town... BUT I don’t have that kind of money. The struggle is real of not being an adult to work for a full-time wage.
