I have a bit of a soft spot for this movie,(not enough to spend the money on this amazing set). As a teen I babysat these creative kids that would set up Home Alone traps for me & I would play along and pretend to get injured. Those kids were too fun! lol
I love this set, so Christmassy ❤️ I've actually rewatched the movie last Christmas so I remember it quite well. Btw, I've also always only seen the laundry chutes in the movies until we have built one at home XD ~Wavey ;)
I hope Lego makes a National Lampoons Christmas vacation set from the movie with all the characters. Clark Griswold, Ellen, cousin Eddie, Russell, Audrey, Ruby Sue, two Christmas trees one full of branches and the other one burned, the Grannie with her jello mold and gramps and his cigar. NOW that would be an epic Lego set.

Just because I knew how long it took me, BUT I was fairly new to legos n BIGGER sets. I was shocked to see it was one video… YOU DID such a good job showing it go together.. would love to see bigger set videos all in one go more.. THANK YOU for another great build….❤

I've never watched Home Alone but the set looks interesting and I like hearing your commentary and your videos always cheer me up. And with exams coming up and no celebrations until new years eve, I really need cheering up 😂

The birds are a reference to Home Alone 2 Edit: Kevin got left behind for a number of reasons. The power went out in the night, so the parents slept in and they left in a rush, so nobody thought to check the attic where Kevin was sleeping (it wasn’t his normal room). A neighbor kid came over to poke around in the shuttle vans, and got confused for Kevin from behind. That’s how Kevin got left behind, plus he is a deep sleeper.
Its been already 4 years or so, i still watch you till this day🥹. I’m already 16 right now, when i remember back then when ever im sad i decided to watch you and act like im also building legos with you. Till this day when ever i feel down, i come back to you ❤️
Hey Ellie! (I cannot believe that this is the 1st vid of yours that was preceded by a Lego ad... seriously!(???)) This is a young guy thing, but when Kevin shaves for the 1st time, and applies aftershave? His scream of pain was felt by young dudes around the world.😮🔥😭 I did not know Lego put out this set. The way the front walls fold out is brilliant, they should do this more!Great build!💕🧑🎄(You know, if you replace the white popcorn piece with the brown one from the Friends Advent Calendar, you'd have "poopcorn?". Sorry, not sorry?😂🤪🫣)
This set will retire by the end of this year too and when it does the price is going to be even higher. I got this set Friday and I’m halfway through the build and I’m glad that I got it.
